[B]2)[/B]Unself Program (Any Suggestions??)
[B]3)[/B]Your .GSCs From Your Desired Patch
[B]4)[/B]Default_mp.self (1.13)


Theory
(UPDATE BY ITheFallenI)

    [B]1)[/B] We will need to decrypt the default_mp.self located
inside of the 1.13 retail update
[B]2)[/B]Locate the Pre-Compiled .GSC files in the default_mp.self
[B]2)[/B]Uncompile those files, then edit them to your liking
[B]4)[/B]When done recompile the .GSCs back
[B]5)[/B]Re-Pack the default_mp.self file and replace it in hdd_0/game/30377/USDIR
[B]6)[/B]Start MW2 with no bypass on 1.13 using modded .GSCs

When Starting MW2_MP, the Edited/Recompiled GSC files
would overide your patch and use itself as the patch

...

Or if you had the same patch on that contained the same GSC files as the ones you recompiled
into the default_mp.self it would just use your patch, either way its the same


This is probably the easiest and possibly on way to defeat IW once again!

just a thought, since the 1.11 is for the 1.11 server, 1.12 for 1.12 and so on.

Wouldn't modded the 1.11 self file by changing the 1.11 server to 1.13 get the GSC mods back?

Since your connected to the latest server and wouldn't need to bypass.

You might not believe me but yesterday i joined a GW Lobby Online >(1.13)<
The Host obviously had some GSC Mods because there was 5 Pavelows in the air and 3 harriers
I Was like WTF!!
A few seconds later i kept getting killed by a model 1887 He was just spraying through walls cross map and getting HEADSHOTS
I asked What patch he was using, he said "a friend made it for him"
His Psn is GREEZDOT
Also im Not sure but when i watched the killcam his bullets were not going down at all

It's the same server for all versions, they just send their Version (which is hardcoded into the default_mp.self) to the server. This connection is encrypted two times: 1. With the DemonWare Certificate and 2. With the Sony one. So there's a little chance if you reverse engineer the 1.11 and 1.12 update, compare them and then conclude the needed changes to connect to 1.12+ Servers from 1.11.

It is very hard to decrypt the .self files nearly impossible. Just ask Buc Shots or Derektrotter!

Also, did you not read my post? I said MP GSC compiler, now what in the **** would a patch.ff (SP) have to do with that? The common_mp.ff GSC rawfiles are all packed into the executable because they removed the MULTIPLAYER GSC compiler. Lrn2read.

ASM I'm guessing? I dunno, but whatever code the SELF runs off of.

There are different compilers, linkers, etc. for ASM :p
I code in FASM for Linux and Windows. It's good because it's Multi-Plat and doesn't need a linker =D AND, because it has a built in IDE!

Anyway, I should probably look into what actually goes on inside the .ff's and .self's. I should try and give back to the people who give me info and patches and shit for free Winky Winky
I've just transferred everything from the 1.13 update in the USRDIR folder to my laptop.
Do you know of an article or something, that explains the basic's of the fastfile? or am I going to have to start form scratch? Winky Winky
