Anyway... I was looking at CO Elite and noticed how they promise premium users monthly DLC. (I've known this for a long time but seeing it in writing as a GUARANTEE had me thinking...)

We all know that 360 has the contract with Activision to release DLC/Map Packs and such a month prior to PS3, and it will extend to MW3. But I'm thinking COD Elite may bypass that. The backlash would be huge if they were dishonest at all about it and I believe they'd lose money if PS3 players got a half assed version of Elite also.

So that's why I think that PS3 users who buy hardened or elite founder status will have to given DLC at the exact same time as 360, despite of whatever exclusive contract with Xbox they have.

Still. Monthly DLC should mean monthly DLC, if that's what they said in the signup.

I think it will be the end of Nov. when the 1st monthly DLC comes out for xbox and then Jan. 1st when the 1st monthly DLC comes out for ps3. PS3 will still get monthly DLC just at the beginning of the next month after the release on xbox
Nov. 31 - 1st DLC xbox
Dec. 31 - 1st DLC ps3
Jan. 1 - 2nd DLC xbox
Feb. 2 - 2nd DLC ps3
And they could release in the middle of the month ( Nov. 15 DLC #1 xbox Dec. 16 DLC #1 ps3) they haven't said when the monthly dlc is released. (i Hope ps3 gets it same time as xbox)

No, as Activision's timed exclusivity deal w/ Microsoft is still in place.

So you'll still get monthly DLC, just a month later than Xbox as others have suggested.

If we get a half assed version of Elite i'm getting Battlefield.

ya most likely they will be shit and 360 will prolly get them first but ps3 will get them free and the same amount of map packs as 360 just at a later date like they have done it in the past

I don't expect to get DLC the same time as xbox, but im not to fussed really im getting it all free thanks to the hardened edition of the game
