Anyway... I was looking at CO Elite and noticed how they promise premium users monthly DLC. (I've known this for a long time but seeing it in writing as a GUARANTEE had me thinking...)

We all know that 360 has the contract with Activision to release DLC/Map Packs and such a month prior to PS3, and it will extend to MW3. But I'm thinking COD Elite may bypass that. The backlash would be huge if they were dishonest at all about it and I believe they'd lose money if PS3 players got a half assed version of Elite also.

So that's why I think that PS3 users who buy hardened or elite founder status will have to given DLC at the exact same time as 360, despite of whatever exclusive contract with Xbox they have.

Thoughts?

Most likely Xbox will get it at the beginning of the month and PS3 will get it at the end of the month

I'll be pretty pissed if the DLC gets pushed back a month. It's pretty shitty Activision would renew the contract with Microsoft, they're already making enough money and have made Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops the best selling PS3 games of all time, why **** us over again? To you saying you'll be getting BF3 and not MW3, don't. It's not Infinity Ward's fault as they don't have anything to do with who gets the DLC first, plus MW3 wasn't made to be all about DLC. It's just an add-on, the game itself will still be fun and enjoyable, and (hopefully) the best COD yet!

That contract ends in 2012 so i think we will be seeing them on ps3 as the sametime on xbox.

Another reason why I WONT be buying their crappy map packs, waste of money.

Anyone with twitter should spam fourzerotwo with this question, i think it would be fair for ps3 players to get them at the same time.
