OK so I see and hear everytime people saying to other people "you are bad at this game. look at that 1.00K/D" "you should not be allowed on this game look at that K/D Bro" and so on and so on...

So my point is this.

You play a FPS game for the only reason of getting some "Beats" K/D in a VIDEO GAME So I just want to ask you people before i get more into this post. Why do you care so much about a K/DR in a VIDEO GAME ? Do you think it makes you look awesome or like some kinda god to someone ?

Now into why I dont care about some stupid K/D in a Game. The only reason I play a Video Games is to have a fun time with my friends and just take a break from everything else. I dont care if I had a 0.01 K/D all i care about is did I have a good time and playing as a team and not just for Kills which is what most people seem to do now days. Just play for Kills in a team based game mode.

This is where K/D whores start getting really annoying "you know who you are" a few weeks ago I was playing some Black Ops HQ *team based mode. and our team is winning we just need a few more points to win. Now some child on my team started saying down the mic "No don't cap the HQ we have won this just get kills now" someone else on the team starting capping the HQ and I was making my way over to it to help out. so this person startings swaring down the mic at the person capping the HQ telling him to get off it and so on...

Then the person capping gets killed just as i get to the HQ so i keep Capping it and end up doing. the K/D whore went mad I might add because I won the Game for us by capping it.

So my point is why do you go into a Team Based Game mode just for the Kills ? the pop ones are CTF, HQ, HCHQ, Demo, Dom. If the only thing you care about is K/D then just stay in FFA and get your beloved K/D up in that...

OK so thats really all i wanted to say about this I think. and for the people that care about K/D and start saying my K/D is bad so thats why i dont care. well my MW2 K/D is 2.72 and my Black Ops K/D is 1.57 did not play Black Ops much as its a boring game to play online.

anyways thanks for reading again people im sure I will get some hate from the K/D lovers here but ah well.

I don't give a shit about W/L or accuracy, I only play SND and tend to rage quit (lose) and spray after I wipe out quite team quite often.

K/D is a challenge for most, simply playing the game to win gets boring after a month. Most avid CoD players need a certain goal to enjoy their time more; like prestiging quickly, or Kill:death ratio.

If you don't like it; ignore it of call them a no-life for having a high kd and a n00b for having a low kd :carling:

K/d is the only way the game is fun and how are you gonna say you don't care about k/d when you got a 2.72 k/d on mw2?

W/L and K/D are important to me. It's a way of challenging myself because 90% of the kids on CoD are garbage, so they prove to be no challenge. If you roll with a full party of strong players you can easily pull a very high K/D and keep a high W/L.

I don't see is as pointless, more over-hyped. Everyone goes on about it as if it's the only proof that they're a good player. We've all seen someone have an amazing K/D one match, and then can't back it up the next round/game.

I will admit, I've talked smack to players that are saying that im ****, and just let loose about my K/D or W/L ratio and then asking if am actually worse than they are, only because I failed to actually do something in the previous game

Because people don't want to look like some ****tard who plays the game with a toaster. So, they get a 2.0 kdr and then they start to flame other people. End of story, but if you really want something else then it makes you look awesome. Yes, 12 days played and a 3.0 kdr makes noobs cry. In laughter.

K/D means nothing if your Win/Loss is bad. Anyone can camp in a corner on an objective game, get a killstreak, and ignore pursuing the objective until your team loses. If you have a negative W/R it doesn't matter how high your K/D is. It's easy to camp for a high KD and lose. It's the people with decent KD's AND Win Ratios that are good players. Not saying they are the ONLY good players. Some people have bad luck, bad teammates, or just don't give a damn.

Also in my experience, most people with high stats will just back out until they get a noob non-prestiger team. But yeah I kinda agree.... high stats could mean nothing but they could also (sometimes) mean everything. It depends on the player and if you care enough to analyze them.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to get kills if you really want to cap till 5 points from winning in a HQ get a party though. If there are 5 people all wanting kills and you get on the HQ then you are being a douche, but if five people want to win then stfu and get your win. I'd rather win than get kills but if you have the win in the bag go for it and get some extra kills.

I don't know about i personally don't care much of KDR but....1 question. How can you have fun when you're getting pwned!? Don't hate the stat hate the player. When i get mad at mw games it isn't cause i have a low kdr or whatever its cause i keep getting killed! You understand O_O?

And also..kdr is probably the best indication that a player is good. I have not seen a player who has like a kdr of say...0.5 and still plays like someone who'd demolish everybody.
