Or like most of my friends would call it Lag Ops key phrase (lag). Last month we counted the days and were just anxious to get our hands on Call of Duty MW3. My thoughts were Treyarc has always been the B company the second stringers, the big guns are about to come out. Infinity ward the better of the two companies, surely they wont let us down. But think about it Infinity ward is a small fracture of the once dominant and intuative developer.

Dave Zapella and others left Activision, they didn't like the pressure and the pace of the franchise. He felt 2 years isn't long enough to develop a game. Regardless we all buy MW3 and man holy **** that game sure looks familiar. Its almost identical to mw2 and i just spent 100 because i bought the hardened edition. No worries we can't go wrong with MW2.5 yet it has gone wrong in my eyes. Maps are over crowded and spawns are all messed up. Things that with a patch will fix the game, but for the sake of pete our buddy (LAG) is back. Reason being is because, although not released Black ops released Lag conpesation. And now MW3 follows the trend and it's affecting a lot of players who perhaps are paying extra money for good internet solely for gaming. We are being punished for good internet, and their response is they want to make the game as fair as possible. You ask me its a cheap attemp and alternative to not purchasing Dedicated Servers.

The biggest franchise in History and they solely care for themselves. Lag compesation is not the solution and once again as a consumer im unsatisfied and frustated. Mw3 is like Mw2 and nothing new has been brought to the table. Activision is milking the cow and we are the fat cow. Support Killstreaks getting rewarded for playing the objective.Is not a new idea as a matte of fact its a stolen idea from HomeFront. Kill confirmed also not a new game mode Stolen idea from Battlefield also the gun profeciencies stolen from Battlefield. And those two games ironically have dedicated servers. Theater mode is something halo did prior to Black ops and now COD Elite. This concept of checking your stats is a stolen idea from EA games, they do that for Battlefield and Fifa and Madden. Sadly Activision did not learn from Black Ops and right now the main topic and problem is lag. LAG LAG LAG i thought that Infinity Ward would learn from Treyarc Mistakes sadly no.

As consumers we have the right to demand more, problem with Gamers is that we are not unified. Some of you will say theres lag on PS3 cause you guys don't pay like Xbox Live. But the facts are the lag has been affecting both consoles. If we could for once petition and be unified we could make a change. But this is not the case and we just keep buying the game we are getting ****ed year in year out. We need to let the issue known and put them on the spot light, lets not play there game, but most of you will overlook this thread and flame and troll me. And with that mentality we will never get what we deserve...

First off they never claimed those "stolen" ideas as their own. For ****s sake, shit is always bored.

I fully agree on the fact that we have to suffer because of people with near dial up equivalent internet. On the case it says broadband needed.. They need to start putting specific requirements on the back of the case regarding speeds. I'm sorry if you have shitty internet, I did growing up get over. I ****ing hate when the world determines one should have to suffer because of another person.

Personally I know for a fact that a-lot of the people I get connected to typically have shitty internet. ( I asked).

I seriously after a bad game.. messaged everyone and the average was 2-5mbps/.5-1.5mpbs with average ping of 60+ I'm normally 25+mbps/3mbps average ping of 15-25

you fight with your $$$$$$ and all you tards went out and bought the game because you swore it was gonna be the best shit ever happen on earth , even after massive hours of footage from the xp live event , even after when they stated no dedicated servers , even after those players who actually got to go the xp event posted on the interwebs oh how it looked like mw2.5 you guys with jobs went out and bought it an the rest of you asked your parents to buy it , wow billions of dollars in activisions pocket and your at home frustrated every night by campers , maps , lag , etc , there is a giant list of great games this 4th quarter and you tards just want your cod fix for the year. BF3 is 100 times better in everyway , Uncharted 3 , Batman , Fukkking Skyrim . If I made video games and every year you buy the same garbage you think I'm a make the next game better ? NO!!!!! because I know you will buy it regardless just because it has a cod title , no wonder the world is the way it is , too many idiots in this world ,

I agree. I find a few problems that even I can tell them how to fix. For example, why can people spawn behind me in demolition, fix that. The LAGGGGGGGG(frozen tv screen). Those almost kill the game for me....

Right so now I'm home from work il give my view on everything that's been said.

Right firstly I don't see why everyone complains about lag. Or "lag ops" because while I played black ops I never experienced lag, and it makes a lot of the lag people talk about seem over exaggerated such as consoles freezing and stuff, it's obviously gonna be those people who don't have good internet, I have virgin media which is like the best provider (or use to be not sure about now) so I never experienced lag so had no complaints in that Section.
Now on mw3 I never experience the same thing either, the game runs fine for me and I have no issues with lag whatsoever.

I always thought treyarch was second best after WAW which was awful in my opinion and I went back on cod4 as it was that bad. Mw2 then came out and that was a huge step up from WAW. But black ops for
Me was great, zombies was amazing and the multiplayer brought a lot of new things to the call of duty franchise.

Right as for activision milking the cow? Well everyone has said that and still says that yet they still buy it. So what if you don't like it, you still bought it.
Activision is doing everything right when it comes to business. They are one of the most profitable business's in the world thanks to the call of duty franchise. As much as people hate them they have to admire that they have done everything correctly when it comes to getting sales and huge profits.

Everyone was expecting mw3 to be mw2.5 and for some people it was but for me an many others it wasn't really that similar, yes it had some same guns but the gameplay and feel of the game felt new compared to mw2 2 years ago.

The only gameplay issues I have against mw3 is the bad headquarters spawn and the low damage of grenades and flash bangs etc.

Now before any of you shoot me down as a fanboy, I not a fanboy, I play and have played other games such as the assassins creed series (which has to be one of the greatest series ever) and I have given battlefield 3 a go, but it really wasnt my type of game, I'm not that type of gamer, I admit the graphics and gameplay were amazing, but I hate the multiplayer with vehicles. After becoming religious at cod4 that set my play style I have today.
I'm not a fanboy who comes up with pointless arguments to back up the game, I actually think about what I'm writing.

All The people after black ops who said "oh il never buy a cod game again" and "**** gayarch" those people still bought mw3 and will likely buy the next game in the series that treyarch likely have planned fr next year.

Everything you said makes 10x more sense. Lag has never been a problem either. But I'm a fanboy, CoD is 100% of what I play (other than NHL '10 haha).

Il admit the majority of what I play is call of duty but there are games that I definatly go out and buy, if I still had my ps3 I would have bought uncharted 3 for sure !!
