I think it was just your imagination.
Before the fix it was possible to have one-shot-kills with the msr (+silencer) and now it isn´t (of course with headshots but i mean normal shots)

no i realy tested it.
i went in a ffa match with some friends and we tested the damge glitch on those guns.
me and my friends saw that most of the guns didnt work with the glitch .
only acr and type95 both silenced
i dont know why but without a silencer on it it didnt work.
the acr 6.8 silenced took 1 bullet less everytime with the damage on.
we did no headshots.

for some reason i have always thought that the silencer added damage to any gun. Now as far as the damage glitch goes i have not been able to stack it on any weapon since the patch.
However i agree that there are people playing with absurd damage amounts but i believe its more modded mp game saves then it is a glitch.
