Yes, I loved the days of call of duty 4. It's not the game but the people that made it such a fun game. Why? Because there was no care. People didn't fuss over their KDR or winning. Boosting was kept at a minimum state and didn't have much of a negative impact towards the community. So what happened? Well you guys can explain that. I'm pretty sure most of you know by now.

BF Bad Company 2.5 may be a good game but MW3 is a great game :carling:
BTW I have both and I found mw3 far more fun than bf3.

Yes I did see what you did there. You misread the entire post /facepalm. On the topic of Bf3 I asked what noob friendly aspect did they add? On a response to porter.
And If you really found MW3 more fun than BF3 that's your Opinion. Its also MY Opinion that you would probably have the same amount of fun masturbating and it don't cost an arm and a leg and a mountain of frustration.

I'm not trying to get into a fanboy post vs post because its all Opinions. But the FACTS are that MW3 looks and feels like an "EXPANSION PACK".

And yes it is a FACT that there are more people playing Cod than BF but its also a FACT that more than 50% are CHILDREN!!!

I own cod3 , cod4 , w@w , mw2 and mw2.5 so I know from experience and 70 days played on MW2 to know that MW3 is just a knock off and a fail project.
and IMO, When anyone and I mean anyone can get a stealth bomber and emp multiple times in a game , the game is Broken. When a company makes Billions and doesn't give its users Dedicated servers there is a major problem. But you kids will continue to have your parents buy you the next call of duty until Activision runs the Franchise into the Ground.

And finally , next time When a member quotes someone , It means he wants that person to respond. Not some random with an Opinion.

There's a counter for everything in MW3.

Stealth Bomber = Trophy system
EMP = Assassin Pro

And why does it matter if there are children in the game, its always entertaining hearing them rage, If you find it annoying you can always mute them.

How can you say no hardcore gamers play any IW call of duty?

Back when COD4 was released it really set the path for FPS but there was not as much competitiveness back then. Neither was there in Treyarchs WaW.
The hardcore gaming started most likely in the COD series with Mw2. That game produced a lot more raging from players and bought the competitive edge to call of duty which we see today.

Modern warfare 3 is one of the most played games on xbox live and psn so how can you say no hardcore gamers touch it? The huge majority of gamers play it.

So here comes the question... so which game do you think hardcore gamers play?
If you think about saying Battlefield then please leave.

he is talking about the gamers, how can the company be more hardcore? :dumb:
They both make the call of duty series, so you cannot say that Treyarch is more "hardcore" in topic of this thread, it doesn't make any sense.

Just because the game has a huge following does not make it hardcore; in fact its the exact opposite. People prefer the MW series of Treyarch's CoDs because there tends to be no learning curve in IW games. Look what it has come to. You can literally earn "killstreaks" through deathstreaks. What I meant by Treyarch being more hardcore is that they really don't care about the casuals. You don't see scrubs getting killstreaks in Black OPs and that's the way it should be.

Yeah....that would only work if they hadn't completely designed a new engine between the release of BC2 and BF3. That alone is more work done than both IW and Treyarch since 2007.

I mean they add noob friendly things to the games to attract more gamers and help scrubs which sux yeah. With that being said, if you're a good player who plays with friends any COD game can be an enjoyable experience.

People would rather talk about how great COD4, BF3 or other COD games are while playing MW3 or whatever the current COD game they hate.

Deal with the issues and overcome them since good players usually do whether they are hardcore or not.... Or play the pretentious "I am hardcore and great and they only reason noobs kill me is their guns or IW/3arc" card.

Noobs and casuals are easy kills anyway. Nice thread bro

You keep talking about "overcoming", as if its that simple. You can't just overcome lag; a little lag is acceptable of course because no game is perfect, but man did they take a little lag too far. Literally the last game I played some Mexicans got host over me and everyone in my party who all happen to live in the US. Then of course he processed to lag the entire game with his donkey powered net and the game never migrated host. Oh you know the best part? He was using Akimbo FMGS and had dead mans hand. Call of Duty: Lagging you since 2007.

Had there been no lag I would have still died to those damn FMGs because frankly there is no over coming them. Do you know how to tell if something is OP? Ask yourself, had he not used to guns would he have killed me? That certainly applies to the FMGs and the Type 95. Akimbo Machine pistol secondaries and guns that kill before it offers a reaction time have no place in a twitch based shooter. People aren't being pretentious, they just experienced the series before it became a shit infested public pool.

you said....people prefer the MW series of treyarchs CODs?? what was that ment to say?? Smile

well in mw3 you can't earn killstreaks through deathstreaks, you cant in any IW COD game, all you can do is keep your killstreak going till after you die using support streaks. Just because they balance it out, to help those who may not be as good as other players, doesn't make it less hardcore.

And in BO you may not see noobs getting killstreaks, but you also don't see noobs getting the best killstreaks assault kill streaks and specialist in mw3. Both games have different levels of players, but one game, someone might find easier to play, maybe its by treyarch, maybe its by IW, doest make anyone more hardcore than the other.

Veni. Vidi. Vici.
I think that the reason Call of Duty title's seemingly get worst to people is the mere fact that there is nothing truly new about the new titles. I mean if they came up with something that is new it would allow us to feel as though we are playing something fresh. This is something i think black ops did well with COD points. It was a little thing that was new, but was something i found was a fun addition.
