And your reason behind this completely unjustified post is?
How can you say no hardcore gamers play any IW call of duty?
Back when COD4 was released it really set the path for FPS but there was not as much competitiveness back then. Neither was there in Treyarchs WaW.
The hardcore gaming started most likely in the COD series with Mw2. That game produced a lot more raging from players and bought the competitive edge to call of duty which we see today.
Modern warfare 3 is one of the most played games on xbox live and psn so how can you say no hardcore gamers touch it? The huge majority of gamers play it.
So here comes the question... so which game do you think hardcore gamers play?
If you think about saying Battlefield then please leave.
he is talking about the gamers, how can the company be more hardcore? :dumb:
They both make the call of duty series, so you cannot say that Treyarch is more "hardcore" in topic of this thread, it doesn't make any sense.

im a hardcore pro gamer, problem? :carling:
What I am referring to is the fact that CoD (especially the IW games) are considered to be casual games, they attract the inexperienced and soft core gamer and i totally get why; It is fast pace and intense, easy to learn, and there is a huge community. The problem with the series is that it is so enormously big so it kind off puts the rest of the games in the shadows. Many people stick with CoD when there is sooo many better and well produced games out there (Uncharted, Gears of War, Crysis etc.).
I love CoD but hate the fact that it is so dominating in the community. Activision makes sooo much money, they release their games every year and sells millions of copies and they sell a lot of DLC and it annoys me as crazy that they don't more effort into their games. There are so many things in MW3 that is really poor (connection, map design, lack of dedicated servers, death streaks etc.) but still the game sells crazy amounts which confuses me a little, don't we have higher expectations, especially on a game that is produced by one of the wealthiest in the industry?
I often meet people who says that their biggest hobby is gaming, so I ask them what they play and 80 % they answer something like "Mostly CoD, well almost exclusively CoD" The problem here is that I don't think that you can call yourself a gamer (and especially not a hardcore gamer) if you only play one game that well the majority of the males in the US and Europe in the ages of 10- 21(?) play.
