Yes, I loved the days of call of duty 4. It's not the game but the people that made it such a fun game. Why? Because there was no care. People didn't fuss over their KDR or winning. Boosting was kept at a minimum state and didn't have much of a negative impact towards the community. So what happened? Well you guys can explain that. I'm pretty sure most of you know by now.

How can you say no hardcore gamers play any IW call of duty?
Back when COD4 was released it really set the path for FPS but there was not as much competitiveness back then. Neither was there in Treyarchs WaW.
The hardcore gaming started most likely in the COD series with Mw2. That game produced a lot more raging from players and bought the competitive edge to call of duty which we see today.
Modern warfare 3 is one of the most played games on xbox live and psn so how can you say no hardcore gamers touch it? The huge majority of gamers play it.
So here comes the question... so which game do you think hardcore gamers play?
If you think about saying Battlefield then please leave.

They both make the call of duty series, so you cannot say that Treyarch is more "hardcore" in topic of this thread, it doesn't make any sense.

All people nowadays is play the shit out of COD games all the while trying to sound like some pretentious FPS snob. I mean they add noob friendly things to the games to attract more gamers and help scrubs which sux yeah. With that being said, if you're a good player who plays with friends any COD game can be an enjoyable experience.
People would rather talk about how great COD4, BF3 or other COD games are while playing MW3 or whatever the current COD game they hate.
Deal with the issues and overcome them since good players usually do whether they are hardcore or not.... Or play the pretentious "I am hardcore and great and they only reason noobs kill me is their guns or IW/3arc" card.
Noobs and casuals are easy kills anyway. Nice thread bro
