Sometimes its best to leave but other times I just stay and take it because at the end of the day its just a video game. If my team is doing really bad and not shooting down air support helping your teamates out then I would leave. However if I'm playing against really good team I stay and take the defeat also you might learn something by watching how they play as a team.

I only rage quit when I'm lagging and can't even get a hit marker, so every once in a while.

I never rage quit. Why? Cause I dont play with noobs anymore. I just play competitive CTF and S&.
