Investigative organization WikiLeaks released classified U.S. military video today showing the killing of more than a dozen Iraqis, including two Reuters employees, with a spokesperson for the whistle-blower group slamming the soldiers involved for their "video game" like behavior.

That video, which is incredibly disturbing and graphic, shows a group of Iraqis walking the streets of New Baghdad, identified as armed "insurgents" by military personnel. The group, which reportedly included Reuters photojournalist Namir Noor-Eldeen and assistant Saeed Chmagh, is gunned down by a pair of Apache attack helicopters. Later, a minivan that appears to come to the assistance of the wounded is fired upon.

Australian journalist and WikiLeaks advisory board member Julian Assange released the video at the National Press Club in Washington. "The behavior of the pilots is like they're playing a video game," said Assange, according to a report from Fox News. "It's like they want to get high-scores in that computer game."

The tone on the soliders voice is asif they want to kill the iraqis from the start, they didnt even sound scared or paranoid, they just wanted to take them out no matter what.
They did treat them guys like you would somebody in a video game and not like human beings.

Aka Integrity.
To be honest, If they didn't post at Saeed or Namir holding a camera, and I was the gunner of the Apache. I would've asked to engage fire, It really did look like weapons, the gunner is only watching from a black and white screen, How could he have known if they're guns or not? It's really hard to tell, but from the looks of it, It looked like guns, and the way Saeed was holding the camera in that corner, it looked like he was trying to shoot, as the gunner said (Shot's fired.) I think Saeed took a photo shot and they thought it was a gunshot or something, They said something about RPG's and by the looks of Saeeds camera lense, It looks like an RPG from the back. I don't know, all I have to say is

RIP, Saeed and Namir.

Well they have the bigger weapon, I wouldn't be scared if I was in a fight while I'm wearing brass knuckles and my opponents using bare hand, I think it's their advantage so they didn't scared. It's just sad to catch innocent people in the middle of a giant war. :\

Military soldiers go through extensive training to be calm in situations of high stress. In the kill or be killed environment... your main focus is survival (regardless of what side you're on).

I wasnt focusing so much on them being scared or whatever.
Just them saying "come on, all you have to do is pick up a rifle", hints that the apache team wanted to kill them regardless?

Agreed.

Although their vocabulary seemed a bit immature, it appears as if they did their job.
