Yea...I see your point. And you're right. That was just my personal opinion. They do what they do for a reason...they got the clearance to shoot and all so they did nothing wrong. And as for the reporters getting shot...IT'S WAR, you're going to get shot at, don't stand out in the open.
yep. All parties involved (militart & press) know the risks when they get involved. What's sad is the innocent people who really get screwed in the cross fire.
How about another point that we should address? The Call of Duty series is awfully realistic. Does this create a generation of desensitized people? I mean when I get a chopper gunner it's a celebration, a reward for doing well in the game. On the opposite end of the gun fire are human beings. In the game it's all virtual however the realism of the AC130 videos and attack helicopter videos really give me a new perspective. What do you guys think? Should a video game be realistic?
I don't like that the US Army is accused of "video game behavior." Funny how the military has been around WAY longer than video games.

Iraqi's still have the right to walk down a street with a camera without being shot at by an apache helicopter.
Imagine if you were those Iraqi's and you were walking down the street with your camera and an american helicopter started shooting at you, you'd be like WTF?
After a few views of that video, i believe those american soldiers clearly wanted to kill them people no matter who they were, they should be ashamed.
If you look at Iraq history... Iraqi's didn't have the right to walk down the street without certain restrictions. The previous dictator of that country had some seriously strict policies on what the people could and could not do. Most of the minor issues were punishable by sever treatments. I'm not saying I condone the war... that's not what this response is; pro war or anti-war. I'm simply saying that Iraqi citizens had grossly restricted rights under their previous ruler.
