Dude, did you not read my previous posts... He's done a lot of damage already. Bells that can't really be un-rung without significant cutbacks across all departments... Even with those cutbacks I don't think we can make up the lost ground.

Walking up to every brown person and asking for identification is extreme and unjust, but asking for it when the person is doing something illegal when they shouldn't be here in the first place is totally different. The police in Arizona aren't walking around latino neighborhoods asking random people for Identification. Illegal aliens ruin the system put in place by our forefathers for this country.

Basically the argument AGAINST stem cell research is the research of embryonic stem cells. In order to extract stem cells from embryos, the embryo has to be destroyed... as a result destroying the human life. This is basically your pro-lifers.
I personally don't know where I stand on this... If I had to put myself in a category, I'm pro-choice.
There are many benefits of stem cell research. Stems calls come from three sources. Adult bone marrow, umbilical chords and embryos. I guess you can have stem cell research from bone marrow and umbilical chords... leaving the embryos alone. I'm no scientist though.
Hopefully this clears it up for you. Or maybe it brings up more questions??
