(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Everything is so god damn expensive. Compare it to the US which is cheep as hell. Petrol prices, food, electronics etc. I was comparing phones and in the UK it's like twice the $$$

What's your thoughts on this

We have the NHS. Our government is small enough NOT to be sinister and greedy (although I can't speak on behalf of the Tory's!)

There's tossers everywhere.

The gun crime is way down here compared to America and other countries.

It may be shit weather but we're a safe country.

Between the USA and UK, the UK is probably better/safer.

But i'd still choose Australia over either of them! It looks awesome there

The NHS is considered a public good which has negatives aswell as positives. There are lots of free riders to it. Everyone on a substantial income has to pay taxes to fund the NHS but there are lots of ppl such as tramps that get this free healthcare, is this considered fair?

Anyway at the OP, its all equalled out. You have to take into account the cost of living etc etc, you have just named one thing, ceteris paribus. (google it if you are unfortunate as not to know what that means).

well to be honest the US are the same in the long run just because it is half price more or less dosen't mean nothing look behind the scenes. Houses get mashed every year,Earthquakes,Floods etc....

US IS equal to uk so there's my opinion.

inb4 US vs. UK argument

If you are going to flame one country, there is a thread in the Debate Forum, post it in there, not here.

I'm not trying to say the US is a better country, or what the pro's and cons are. I just simply stated don't you think it sucks that things are expensive here.
