I'm a Eagles fan and his performance this year and last night is nothing short of game changing.
His new passing accuracy and patience on top of his speed in the scheme they are running could make him one of the top quarterbacks in the game.

I am struggling with knowing what he did. Dog fighting I could forgive easily but personally torturing many dogs is hard to forget. Isn't that the shit that serial killers do when growing up. Does the desire to torture something, just to do it, ever go away?
I guess everyone deserves a second chance. He did his time in prison, lost all his money, and said he is sorry.
I just can't help but feel that he realized that being rich and famous is more fun that torturing defenseless dogs.

Do you think if he won a super bowl he would be saying at the end of the game "I'm going to disneyworld"

The ugly truth is, as an eagles fan, I'm hoping I find out the answer to that question.
But I will never buy a Vick jersey.

Umm Kitna wasn't the reason for that 0-16 Lions squad. They just had no talent at all. Kitna got hit more that season then Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have combined in their carriers. Kitna is a avg QB given the right talent so it was no surprise to me when the cowboys put up those points on the Giants with an Offense based coach *cough* Jason Garret *cough*. And saying your an eagles fan then going and saying the cowboys are the best team in the NFC when they are 2-7? bullshit. Hop off the cowgirls dick's please.

Look i have dogs i love em to death but in the end they are animals and thats it he didnt kill people if you would of heard him saying im going out on a boat to go fishing would anyone care someone might but im sure most of the people in the post wouldn't but he would going out to catch fish keep them kill them and eat them and same would go if he was going hunting but all because he killed dogs the guy shouldnt get a second chance...Bottome line is i want the best people when can get to play on the Eagles Vick is 100% better then McNabb he gives us the best chance to win for the past 2 years i havn't wanted to watch the Eagles b/c i couldn't stomache McNabb all i know is the Eagles should make it to then end this year and win the league isn't that great we i say forgive him and Go EAGLES!

Groaning isn't -Repping. The reason why I hate Michael Vick is because my mom can't even walk our pit bull because if a police officer sees any kind of pit bull approaching him, he will shoot it. All the officer has to say is the dog was attacking him. This isn't just in PA, it's everywhere, and it's ridiculous. Everyone that has to do with the government is corrupt, and when they get caught, they get a slap on the wrist. Sorry to overreact to you and I'll remove the groan.

What story have you heard? Every word you just said is wrong. Why would they arrest him then?

Vick wasnt the one who fought dogs, it was on his property though and he knew about it, but him himself did not fight them, i forgive him im a die hard eagles fan

Thank You for having some reason . Its bad that he let them dog fight on his property And he put some money into it, but he wasn't the one torturing them. Forgive, but dont forget in this case.

if u were smart you would know i ment that the cowboys have the most talent in the nfc and if it werent for their overwhelming cockiness they would be the nfc east leaders right now. any1 can coach the cowboys better than wade phillips. all u need to do is control the locker room. also i didnt say kitna was the reason, but he was a part of that team, oh and they had megatron u bafoon, they had 1 piece of talent. jason garrett didnt put up trick plays dumbass, he used the same playbook they always used u moron. so its a locker room issue not a playbook issue. they could put up those points against any1. btw like i said im a die hard eagles fan but i will not say they are the best when i know of at least 6 teams that can beat them in the playoffs right now. i am hoping they win a superbowl, but i know thats a longshot. i understand football too much to always say "oh the eagles are the best omg". sorry you cant deal with the fact that they are the greatest choke artists ever imho.

He was directly involved and has admitted to hanging 3 dogs and drowing 3 others, as well as putting house pets in a ring with trained pit bulls and waching them be killed.

The report, dated Aug. 28, 2008, says, "Vick, Peace and Phillips thought it was funny to watch the pit bull dogs belonging to Bad Newz Kennels injure or kill the other dogs." The report has names and phrases redacted in order to protect the anonymity of certain individuals who cooperated with investigators.
The report also states in mid-April of 2007, Vick, Peace and Phillips hung approximately three dogs who did not perform well in a "rolling session," which indicates the readiness of a dog to fight. According to the report, the three men hung the dogs "by placing a nylon cord over a 2 X 4 that was nailed to two trees located next to the big shed. They also drowned approximately three dogs by putting the dogs' heads in a five gallon bucket of water."

Vick initially told authorities "while he assisted Phillips and Peace in the killing of the dogs, he did not actually kill the dogs," but "helped Phillips toss several dogs to the side," according to the report.

However, the report says Vick took back that statement when he failed a polygraph test. "Vick failed the examination as it related to the killing of the dogs in April 2007. Ultimately, Vick recanted his previous statement wherein he said he was not actually involved in the killing of six to eight dogs. ... Vick admitted taking part in the actual hanging of the dogs."


Vick, the report says, paid someone whose name was redacted $100 to dig two graves for the dog carcasses. "Based on past circumstances," the report says, "Phillips and Peace did not like [Vick] to do any type of work that could injure him and jeopardize his NFL contract." When the person who dug the graves refused to bury the animals, the report says, Vick, Peace and Phillips buried the dogs themselves.

He did not go to prison because his friend and cousin were doing everything, He was fully involved.

As a person who cares for dogs, I don't believe in forgiving him. But I do feel that he has served his time, and redeemed himself further with his game performance.

The past, while bad, is in fact the past.. he's doing great and I can't help but be a little happy for him.

I am a life time Eagles fan as well and i own a dog who i love a lot as well but what Vick did was bad but everyone makes mistakes in the world.. I believe he should be forgiven cause everybody deserves a 2nd chance no matter what they do. Vick served his time and he regrets what he did... so yeah... in my eyes i think he should be forgiven even though what he did was bad and wrong.
