Post: PlayStation Network has way more users than Xbox Live

Most gamers argue about which console is better, or which has a better online gaming service. Most would say Xbox Live is better, since you must pay for their service to play online.
Well, our friends at Joysiq got some amazing numbers from Sony at the press conference at CES.
Sony CEO Howard Stringer explained that 60 million Playstation Network accounts have been made, while only 30 million (Free and Gold) Xbox Live accounts have been made.
Joystiq notes that this includes users on a PS3, PSP, and people who have created Playstation Network accounts online without actually touching a console or handheld.
What do you think? Is this a fair lead?

Of course Xbox will have better service, I'd expect better service if I had to pay to use online.
But like said previously a lot of those accounts arent even active, hense for CL Ive mad over 5 different accounts and thats just for me alone.

Considering you can create an Xbox account online too, and seriously nobody creates an account on the PSP...
Also seeing as the PS3 is a lot younger than the Xbox sales and accounts are likely much better than the Xbox's were at this time in its life.
Also you can only create 10 PSN accounts at a time.

Doesn't mean you can't make them on your PSP or on the PlayStation homepage.

Yeah I said you could in my post, but in all honestly not many people created an account on PSP only, and considering it is still PSN it is fair to count it.
Also you can create free accounts on Xbox.com too.
