Most gamers argue about which console is better, or which has a better online gaming service. Most would say Xbox Live is better, since you must pay for their service to play online.

Well, our friends at Joysiq got some amazing numbers from Sony at the press conference at CES.

Sony CEO Howard Stringer explained that 60 million Playstation Network accounts have been made, while only 30 million (Free and Gold) Xbox Live accounts have been made.

Joystiq notes that this includes users on a PS3, PSP, and people who have created Playstation Network accounts online without actually touching a console or handheld.

What do you think? Is this a fair lead?

Haxor!
Have both consoles, xbox 360 is better tbh. this is my opinion, had ps3 since it came out & got an xbox like 2years after that & 360 just dominates without a doubt, people just keep posting ps3's better because that's the only console they own. i can see the -rep coming because all the ps3 owners will rage.

Only like 65% (or something like that) of Live accounts ever subscribed to Gold.
