Honestly, I have no idea Winky Winky

That's not an explanation, you just restated the question. If you don't like that analogy then how about: "Why can't matter be created or destroyed?" It just can't. There's no particular reason for it to be true - it just is.

There are plenty of things unexplained in the universe still. Its size or if it has a size, what happens when you enter a black hole, is there more than one dimension, etc...

These are completely different from what you're asking. These are "how" questions. You keep asking "why" questions. (Also, I should hope that there is indeed more than one dimension - it would suck to have no height or width.)

Gravity is a property of matter. Matter has mass (weight) and occupies space. It also has the property of being able to attract other matter to it. The name associated with that characteristic of matter is gravity. And we don't know where it came from. It's just there.

source google it and you also learn this on science class

I've always wondered the same thing. All I know is that objects with more mass have more gravity

Dude just answer the guys question

Seeing as I'm basically the only one who's actually doing what you're supposed to by giving your own theories, I'd say that it's because of the fact that the Earth is spinning really fast. The same way that you're pressed into the corner while on one of those fast spinning rides, you're kept on the Earth by it's planetary rotation?

Did you actually read any of my posts? My first one explained it in the best way I could without a physics background. My second one described how making it any more simple would just be cheating, or creating circular logic. I can't answer his question any more than I already have. Gravity is something that exists, and its existence is something people just have to accept.

We accept gravity already. We aren't against it or anything. We just want to know why it is there.

here if youre really arguing about this go to the emipre state building( or any building with over 10 stories) and from it just walk off the edge of the roof, if you dont believe gravity exists then youll be fine Smile

Are you trolling me or are you just accidentally ignoring everything that I say?

k thats just retarded and it goes against itself, if your theory was right then we would be thrown off the earth because of its rotation
