I'm not trolling its just you are saying that we should accept it as if we are against it and don't believe in it and you are also saying that the question being asked in this thread isn't a good question and that we shouldn't answer "why" but "how".
We want to know why because we know what it is, we know that it exists, and we know that mass affects it. But we want to know why it exists and why it is there.

And I don't see how elfomat missed the point of the question, you asked why gravity exists. It exists because objects create a curvature in space-time due to their mass.

Your actually wrong. Matter does not have weight. Weight is created by gravity pulling down on matter. Also it can't be just there we have many theories to what actually causes it.
