Lebron James - The Mistake

Lebron, Lebron, Lebron. Was it worth it? You were on the track to winning a ring with Cleveland. After this year, Boston is splitting up, and had you stayed with Cleveland I felt your chances of winning would be higher than ever. How much regret do you think he has. I know the regular season isn't over yet but for crying out loud! At the beginning of the year when the Heat were bad all the analysts said, "Oh don't worry give them time." Even Lebron said they are going to get better at the beginning of the year. How much time to they need? Playoffs are coming and teams like Boston, San Antonio, and LA are looking more ready than ever. Meanwhile the Heat can't actually beat a good team, nor can perform in the clutch. Unless some divine intervention happens, I don't see the Heat contending at all. Another question that pops into my mind is, how close is Spoelstra from getting fired? I have a gut feeling Pat Riley will step in soon, because it's now or never!

tl;dr: The Miami Heat have a 0% chance of winning the title this year, and Lebron should have stayed in Cleveland.

He can get all the assists and pretty stats he wants but it creates a team that becomes crippled when things don't go perfectly.

ClutchLikeMelo I'm very happy you created this thread. This thread gives people in my opinion the true idea of what Lebron James did. Which is his biggest mistake of his life. I remember when he first came into the league he changed the entire cleveland team into a winning dynasty. The man could of won the ring if he stood patience. if i remember correctly you stated boston celtics are spilting apart and your right about that but also there getting much older. Lebron James could of done what Michael Jordan did. Stood with one franchise with a good supporting cast and gave Cleveland it first champion. by joining mami he threw himself out of discussion for comparison of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Lebron James had so many potiental to have his legacy written to be GOAT. But by forming an alliances with his buddies Wade and Bosh he tarnish that legacy. Yes he says he going for the ring, but people will question him could he have won it without Wade and Bosh? i hardly doubt it. They way the trio predicted how many rings there going to win was ridcoulous. A lot people get on me because they say "oh kobe can't win it without shaq" but people tend to forget when shaq came to the Lakers, who they had? Young Derek Fisher (which he distrube the ball damn well at young age) then you had Robert Horry (a clutch 3 pointer in the post-season) and Rick Fox (a good average player.) Then you have the best coach of all time who coached one of the greatest player of all time which is Michael Jordan. What I believe is what people failed realized is you need a 1 & 2 punch combo and helluva coach who knows how to utilize his team with good supporting cast to win a championship team. The coach they have is very young with a lot of potiental but he seem be having a lot problems having his hothead espeically Lebron James under control. You know how many times Lebron James missed a clutch shot espeically a blocked from Amare Stoudmire. Lebron forgets he is not clutch shooter he is a clutch dunker. He not in level to be consider a clutch player such as Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chauncey Billups etc. In my personal opinion Lebron gets too much attention handed to him when he doesn't deserve it. He couldn't handle the pressure to win championship in Cleveland so he went to his buddy to "try" to "win" a championship. The guy is pathetic. I'm very disappointed in Lebron James. I'm glad you made this thread ClutchLikeMelo. I thought this was a very good thread

You can win MVPs year in and year out, but without the rings to go with that, you havent done shit, and that title applies to LeBron
You can dickride the kid all you want, he hasnt done shit and cant do it alone like the others could

Your saying two MVPs in the National Basketball Assosiation is "doing shit". I'm pretty sure its not, and im pretty sure thats more then you'll ever do. While its not a championship its more then 99% of all the people in the NBA will accomplish (including Kobe). The stats definetly do mean somthing, nobody remembers the guys who sit on the bench and dont do anything . They remember the people who put up stats even if they dont get a ring. People will remember Lebron more then they will remember Kobe because of what he did moving to Miami. Lebron has tons of haters, more haters = more fans.

Because it's the Miami Heat... Sure I 'hate' them... But I sure do say damn and give them credit when they put up a show like they've have in the past week.
But when people come up with this shit and say Heat will just steam roll now, I think it's false and will give you my excuse of saying we have not seen this current team in the playoffs yet.

MVPs? cause all Cleveland had was LBJ! & when college players join the NBA, they join to win championships, not MVPs. & you saying people will remember LBJ more than Kobe is completely ridiculous. People call KB one of the best all-time, LJB is only the best as of now (not even sure of that)!

Yeah, I'm a NBA fan, but never had a true favorite team...
I started following them when Gilbert was there, he was simply the man Happy.
Wall, he's the fuking man Happy. I love 'em, and mehhh, he can be, he really just needs help, as in another player. The team sucks badly lol, just get 2 solid guys and he can turn into a star.

Ok for now, how bout you get outa this thread. For a while they were 0-5 against the "top teams" or w/e. Then they beat the lakers, so people changed it too 0-5 against the "top 5 teams" (at the time the lakers werent in the top 5). Then they beat Orlando so they lowered it to the "top four teams" which at the time they were like 0-6. The heat have now beat the lakers a few more times, and the lakers player their way into to "top four teams" so they lowered it to the "top three teams" which the heat is 1-9 against. (when i refer to "they" I'm talking about ESPN and idiots on NGU. What i'm trying to say is every time the heat beat a good team in the NBA people lower the "top teams" so it doesnt look like they have beat anyone good.

tl;dr
People be hating and make it look like the heat havn't won any good games by saying "top three teams", instead of "top 5 teams" like it was at the begining of the year.

@ Muggen, wow, I really thought you weren't one of the Kobe lovers :(. Really disapointed your a dick rider. You do realize Kobe had loads of talent throught ALL of his rings. Lebron just got some quality talent and he will win. Talk shit at the end of the year after he has one, talk shit in 3 years after they've one 2-3, talk shit in 7 years after they've one 5-6 and kobe's sitting in a wheelchair.

Come on Melo, did you even read my post? Here, i'll make it a little easier for you too see... You totally bashed Lebron for leaving cleveland pointing out how bad they were doing. This thread was made for you and the other haters who talk when there on a 4-5 game losing streak (for you math impared people thats 1-2 games more than 3) then shut the **** up when there on a 3 game winning streak, soon to be more. They beat the Spurs by 30! Kobe sur hasn't done that, Celtics sure ain't done that, HEY D-Rose! he sure hasn't done that.

Oh and i loved the point about Kobe making it further then Lebron. Who has Kobe had to Compete with in the West in the past 10 years? The only teams i can think of is the Mavs in 07 or 08, the Spurs recently, and the Thunder recently. Lebron has the Bulls, the Celtics, the Magic, East>West by a mile. Lebron had Mo Williams and Gibson on his team, Kobe had Pau, Lamar, Odom, Artest, Shaq, and about 10 others that would have went into the playoffs without him. Remember, without kobe the lakers still won last year. Lebron has never had good support players, now he does. Now lets sit back and watch him win.

And i want you to do the same, dont say oh lets wait till he has 5 rings, then when he gets 5 rings not say anything. I want you to talk shit then too Smile .

Oh and too my last point, i think the Nuggets will win, 8-10 without Melo, with a nice win over the Hornets :y:

Winning 3 in a row don't impress me, what happened previous 5 lol, and yeah i was always Lakers fan.
