Lebron James - The Mistake

Lebron, Lebron, Lebron. Was it worth it? You were on the track to winning a ring with Cleveland. After this year, Boston is splitting up, and had you stayed with Cleveland I felt your chances of winning would be higher than ever. How much regret do you think he has. I know the regular season isn't over yet but for crying out loud! At the beginning of the year when the Heat were bad all the analysts said, "Oh don't worry give them time." Even Lebron said they are going to get better at the beginning of the year. How much time to they need? Playoffs are coming and teams like Boston, San Antonio, and LA are looking more ready than ever. Meanwhile the Heat can't actually beat a good team, nor can perform in the clutch. Unless some divine intervention happens, I don't see the Heat contending at all. Another question that pops into my mind is, how close is Spoelstra from getting fired? I have a gut feeling Pat Riley will step in soon, because it's now or never!

tl;dr: The Miami Heat have a 0% chance of winning the title this year, and Lebron should have stayed in Cleveland.

Lebron James wouldn't have won in Cleveland. Anywhere he is the team becomes the Lebron show. Until he can learn to play without the ball more any team he is on will fail. He can get all the assists and pretty stats he wants but it creates a team that becomes crippled when things don't go perfectly.

ClutchLikeMelo I'm very happy you created this thread. This thread gives people in my opinion the true idea of what Lebron James did. Which is his biggest mistake of his life. I remember when he first came into the league he changed the entire cleveland team into a winning dynasty. The man could of won the ring if he stood patience. if i remember correctly you stated boston celtics are spilting apart and your right about that but also there getting much older. Lebron James could of done what Michael Jordan did. Stood with one franchise with a good supporting cast and gave Cleveland it first champion. by joining mami he threw himself out of discussion for comparison of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Lebron James had so many potiental to have his legacy written to be GOAT. But by forming an alliances with his buddies Wade and Bosh he tarnish that legacy. Yes he says he going for the ring, but people will question him could he have won it without Wade and Bosh? i hardly doubt it. They way the trio predicted how many rings there going to win was ridcoulous. A lot people get on me because they say "oh kobe can't win it without shaq" but people tend to forget when shaq came to the Lakers, who they had? Young Derek Fisher (which he distrube the ball damn well at young age) then you had Robert Horry (a clutch 3 pointer in the post-season) and Rick Fox (a good average player.) Then you have the best coach of all time who coached one of the greatest player of all time which is Michael Jordan. What I believe is what people failed realized is you need a 1 & 2 punch combo and helluva coach who knows how to utilize his team with good supporting cast to win a championship team. The coach they have is very young with a lot of potiental but he seem be having a lot problems having his hothead espeically Lebron James under control. You know how many times Lebron James missed a clutch shot espeically a blocked from Amare Stoudmire. Lebron forgets he is not clutch shooter he is a clutch dunker. He not in level to be consider a clutch player such as Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chauncey Billups etc. In my personal opinion Lebron gets too much attention handed to him when he doesn't deserve it. He couldn't handle the pressure to win championship in Cleveland so he went to his buddy to "try" to "win" a championship. The guy is pathetic. I'm very disappointed in Lebron James. I'm glad you made this thread ClutchLikeMelo. I thought this was a very good thread

lol I'm not Heat hater. The Heat have been one of my favorite teams to watch since they drafted Dwade. I'm more a Lebron hater =D

In case you hadn't noticed Lebron had been deferring to Dwayne Wade in that winning streak. Dwayne Wade has been the unquestioned leader of the team in those games. A few people have even said he has been playing "MVP quality" basketball in that streak

Not to mention 11 time NBA championship winning coach, Phil Jackson, tried to keep the ball in Lebron's hands in their match-up with LA for the exact reasons I stated.

So yeah, not mad. More justified. Thanks for reminding me of my correct prediction. I'll keep studying basketball, you keep loving 1 player mmmkay

Double post :( . One thing i also love about the NBA and pointed out in another thread is that when people talking about MVP's throught the season its all about who is playing good basketball at the time. I've been hearing Wade lately and nothing about d rose. It's because the heat have been winning games and Wade has been leading them to those wins. Throught the season when you hear the MVP talks its just whoever is hot at the time, not actually who the people think will get/deserves the MVP

Yeah, Lebrons my favorite player, your point? Started watching basketball four-five years ago and Lebron was the most exiting person to watch. Started out liking Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Howard, Allen, and Dirk, the main people on ESPN that were fun to watch. Realized Kobe was a rapist, just started to dislike the c's but Allen is still fun to watch, still love watching Howard play, and Lebron and Wade have been my favorite players sence I started watching basketball. Thats why i like the Heat, not just because Lebron went there.

Oh and i love the Heat/Lebron because I can make a thread like this and get tons of replies because so many people love to hate on them/Lebron. He's an amazing basketball player, amazing talent, and he hasn't commited a severe crime yet like 90% of other atheletes.

OJ simpson, never won a super bowl, but yet he is one of the most rember names in football. Or he is one of the most known names by people who don't follow football. he story captivated the nation. Even people who didn't follow football were tuned into it.

With what happend with Lebron going to Miami even non basketball fans were following the free agenci and what happen after he said he was going to Miami. So many more people know his name and know what happen with him than before. More people know his name then Kobes now. I'm not saying he is BETTER then Kobe for doing it, I'm saying his name is more known throught the world, he has more publicity.

Stats dont mean shit. Plain and simple kid. Ya the C's are on a losing streak because they are starting to rest their starters for what really matters, THE PLAYOFFS, where they usually dominate the eastern conference
Its going to be the C's and the Lakers yet again in the Finals
Bank on it

I think we have a LeBron dickrider here, truly

Dude my ass is sore from having lebrons dick so far up my ass =D.

Bank on w/e you want. But if you bank on the lakers and the Celtics your going to be wrong. Theres no way the old Lakers are going to get past the hot Spurs and the young Thunder which almost beat them last year.
