No, they should not be able to adopt. I can tell that the people who say "who cares" are self centered people. These are children you need to grow up with loving parents, the child can be seriously mistreated by peers, and can end up in a huge catastrophe, you need to think before you vote. I understand that it's their lives, hell I live my own life, but why can't I go out and kill people for no reason? After all its MY life. That's not the way you can think about things, you need to give a better reason than that, and just because you aren't in that situation doesn't mean that you don't have to react with respect. By the way, I'm not gay, and I have a mother and a father, not two dads. I am heterosexual.

I lol'd. Are you being serious? I'm not a moralfag, but you're comparing giving a child a home to murder. Not to mention you accuse others of being self-centered, but then you use
your life as a basis for your argument. Way to be a hypocrite.
No one's keeping you from going on a killing spree, don't flatter yourself.

Kids are kids, and they can be cruel at times.
I'm not saying that i'm against same sex marriages, but you've got to draw the line somewhere.
Put yourself in the shoes of an adopted child(say with 2 male fathers),now imagine the looks, teases, jokes and bullying you would get when other kids know of your situation.
Gays adopting kids is for their benefit, but what about the child's safety and concern?
They're adults, they can deal with the abuse from others but the child has f uck all of an idea in how to cope and could be scarred for life.
Every coin has 2 sides.
It's always the children that suffer from such circumstances.
I'm seeing this from the child's perspective, hence my comment as such.
Until the day society(that's majority, not minority) accepts and treats gays as the norm(male/female relationship),teasing and bullying eradicated then things might change.
I know multiple families where the children have same-sex parents. They're never bullied, they're into sports, they're healthy, they're cared for, and they're loved. They're quite popular amongst other
children and
adults as well. Is that not societally sufficient enough for you?
The only problems that occur will occur when people with beliefs like you step onto the plate. I consider you an open-minded and reasonable person, but really?
Before blaming the parents, why not put the fault on the people who enable this pointless hatred?
Also, I'd rather see a child growing up in a loving home with homosexual parents then an abusive home with heterosexual parents. And I've seen this before, plenty of times.
