No, they should not be able to adopt. I can tell that the people who say "who cares" are self centered people. These are children you need to grow up with loving parents, the child can be seriously mistreated by peers, and can end up in a huge catastrophe, you need to think before you vote. I understand that it's their lives, hell I live my own life, but why can't I go out and kill people for no reason? After all its MY life. That's not the way you can think about things, you need to give a better reason than that, and just because you aren't in that situation doesn't mean that you don't have to react with respect. By the way, I'm not gay, and I have a mother and a father, not two dads. I am heterosexual.

At least the adoption process requires some look at the prospective parents and whether they would be suitable or not.

Any friggan asshole can go make babies and no one can stop them from being asshole parents.

You need a license for almost anything ,except raising a child.

Let them have a kid, if they can pass the requirements!! They would likely try harder then most parents to make the kids life balanced.

I lol'd. Are you being serious? I'm not a moralfag, but you're comparing giving a child a home to murder. Not to mention you accuse others of being self-centered, but then you use your life as a basis for your argument. Way to be a hypocrite.

No one's keeping you from going on a killing spree, don't flatter yourself.

The teasing and bullying can never be fixed.
Kids are kids, and they can be cruel at times.
I'm not saying that i'm against same sex marriages, but you've got to draw the line somewhere.
Put yourself in the shoes of an adopted child(say with 2 male fathers),now imagine the looks, teases, jokes and bullying you would get when other kids know of your situation.
Gays adopting kids is for their benefit, but what about the child's safety and concern?
They're adults, they can deal with the abuse from others but the child has f uck all of an idea in how to cope and could be scarred for life.

Every coin has 2 sides.
It's always the children that suffer from such circumstances.
I'm seeing this from the child's perspective, hence my comment as such.
Until the day society(that's majority, not minority) accepts and treats gays as the norm(male/female relationship),teasing and bullying eradicated then things might change.

I know multiple families where the children have same-sex parents. They're never bullied, they're into sports, they're healthy, they're cared for, and they're loved. They're quite popular amongst other children and adults as well. Is that not societally sufficient enough for you?

The only problems that occur will occur when people with beliefs like you step onto the plate. I consider you an open-minded and reasonable person, but really?

Before blaming the parents, why not put the fault on the people who enable this pointless hatred?

Also, I'd rather see a child growing up in a loving home with homosexual parents then an abusive home with heterosexual parents. And I've seen this before, plenty of times.

Because they're not the ones who base their virtues on a book about an invisible all-knowing and all-seeing being that created the whole world. But, yeah, the people who use reason and logic are the idiots.

It's kinda funny when people point fingers before realizing just how stupid they sound. But then again, that more than not leads to war... so I guess it's not really funny as much as sad.

EDIT: Looking online (with various sources), more than 1,500 different species are familiar with the homosexuality concept. (Not that it's a choice, but I'm saying that homosexuality isn't just a human-kind occurence.)

Penguins and giraffes and foxes (along with thousands of other animals) will often mate, then take the egg/newborn and raise it with a same-sex partner. They can do it? Why can't we?

Oh... right... we're blinded by the whole "God" thing.

Most of the views post here are disgusting “It would **** up the child’s life” well I’m sorry to break this to you but most male and female parents **** there children’s life up enough it’s the same with all stories, there are two sides.

If the parents are loving and caring and can see themselves being in a long-term relationship where they will both be able to provide an input then who cares, just because someone does something taboo in the bedroom it doesn’t mean anyone has a right to judge them for that.

The child would be loved and if the child was up for adoption it was obviously not loved by its biological parents. I would rather the child went to a loving home than staying in a communal orphanage.

I agree with you entirely. The bible is a two-thousand year-old book and you can't apply all of it's rules to our modern society. To be honest I think religion is only there to stop people fearing the unknown.
