not sure if there's a thread or something for suggestions, but here's a few things i would like to see. instead of cod montages or commentaries, i say you guys make some funny videos involving cod. whether that's trolling in game or something like that, i think people wouldl like to see that. the possibilities for that would be endless. there are WAY too many montages and commentaries out there to watch, so NGU's would be a dime a dozen. another thing that would be a commentary, but different, would be to find the worst player you've played with, spectate their game, and pretend to be them. make funny comments, stuff like that.

another thing to look into is current events. a news report would be entertaining, especially if you make it funny. find current events and ridicule them, or find obscure stories and videos.

those are just a few of my suggestions, and if you like them and think others would then go right ahead. if not, thanks for reading.

I am going to be honest, NGU has gone shitter (don't even know if it's a word) due to the new updates, merging all the general sections into General Discussion, the NGU youtube channel, we had like 2 or 3 channels, the download section (which is only available to premiums, might as well get rid of the Premium section) and then you have that stupid stream video on top of NGU which is either blocked by AdBlock or is disabled. Ever since these updates happened, I've been less active on NGU then I was back then. Nuff said

Apple are money hungry, which is why I refuse to buy a new iPod until I have that amount of money as "spare change" or unless it breaks. There have been many months that the donation bar has been hitting almost 200%, meaning 2k a month. Where has all that money gone? I don't think people are "ungrateful" but I think asking people for their opinions isn't hard. If 1 admin doesn't like something, then we all can't have it, even if 200k people like it. I visit NGU as more of a habit now. The quality of posts are going down. Since I stopped playing CoD, GD and debates were the only places I'd visit. Now the quality of the posts are going down and yes, I know this cannot be controlled by the Mods/Admins, but merging them all into one made the GD area a total Cluster fuck. I have no Idea what's a video or debate with some of these stupid titles. Who ever that idea was needs demoting. No one seems to like it.



I agree. The amount of Youtube channels NGU have had is stupid. I can see NGS won't last long, but hey, maybe I'll be proven wrong. As long as it's controlled by the whole Admin team rather than just one member (like sesh) who then went on to become big on youtube, all thanks to this youtube channel, it might last. The content is on us, the members. Everyone seems to just bum fuck the CoD section and all the other sections suffer. GD used to be a good place, now it's getting full of shit things that isn't worth a discussion. The merging of the sections was, without a doubt, one of the most stupidest ideas this site has ever done. It's a total cluster fuck now.

At one point I'd spend quite a while in the GD area discussing things, and Elfmotats threads were some of the best discussions in their. Now he's not active, those discussions about science and space and shit are long gone. Instead we have shit threads about whose from 4chan and just people trying to troll with the old "cool story bro" (Personally I'd ban every fucker that types that). It's a joke when you try to have a serious discussion and some immature 16 year old comes in and ruins it with a meme. It would be hard to get this forum to what it used to be, but I think it could be done with time, stricter rules and an owner to lay down the law. But, would that happen? Probably not.

The top youtubers dont even need good content to get views now. They are so big they get the millions of views.

anyway, I have to admit the NGUPlayer videos are not great, I wont say who i think isnt doing great as i know everyone puts effort in and it is very much appreciated.
I myself need to really get going on NGUPlayer but ive got other commitments in/outside of school that are far more important than NGU (IRL>NGU) and my last video which was ready to upload i couldnt during the DNS issues, and then when i went to find it again the file was corrupt :\ I made an edit planning on getting it on there but it got copyright flagged (which i didnt understand as the video i got the song from wasnt even flagged) so i am behind

NGS wont be dont by the media team as far as I know, but we will have a connection with it.

I also have asked the community in my video editing threads i post in the video editing/design section (no one comments!) what they would like to see a tutorial on from the edits i do and no one seems to post back, not even in the media section i said what effects should I do? to see if anything particular was wanted and only SS94 said syncing, i posted about 5 of my good edits in a thread with some nice effects (i think anyway) and no one commented from the media team, im sure you have probably seen me spam my links of my edits in the SB a bit, this is why!
