I was just thinking: How do people see NGU in 2012?

With some new changes, like:

  • NextGenSource

    • Partnerships on YouTube

  • Homepage (Coming soon, from what I know)
  • Tutorial Team/Staff
  • NGU as a whole focusing more on media, actual videogaming, but still has a wide variety of hacking/glitching.

I personally love it, I'm starting to notice how much the community has changed and how much better this place is getting. Don't get me wrong, I've loved NGU since I signed up, but I haven't felt the same about the community since I've started. Until now, of course, having Outsider make a lot of changes for the better with the website, and seeing Admins interact (at least not as underground), and widening NGUs fanbase.

What do you think? Smile

I will agree that the suggestion section needs more attention paid to it and feedback given on the suggestions.
It has always been the responsibility of the admins to address and they have always been basically ignored, and I'm not claiming that they are not doing anything else, but having unsorted or addressed suggestions dating back several months is reason for complaint by members.

Your treatment by some members and staff here has been an embarrassment IMO.
Although you have not always helped your own case, it is not the role of staff to lead targeted harassment of some members that have been loyal and contribute to the site.
You are not alone in this type behavior being directed at you and it leads to many of the complaints about favoritism and staff not being held to the same standards we demand from members.
It is something that has been enforced at times but not often enough.
Frankly one could reasonably ask why you continue to log in, but I know how much you care about the place and its community.

You have been more than patient with us and have been punished for losing your temper on occasion.

Lets face it, many of us have been here a long time and know each other too well, where to dig and get a reaction.

As we all focus on expanding our draw, offering more content to new and existing members, lets not forget that we are trying to maintain a growing/changing community and we are all entitled to enjoy the site without fear of being unfairly singled out.

Everyday that passes NGU is improving. I'm not saying this just to be biased. I'm saying this because of the community, and the staff have put into this forum. All it takes is for each member to continue contributing and doing their part. What makes this forum so special is the community. I'm looking forward for each year of improvement.
