(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Since It's the summer holiday over in the UK I took advantage of not having to wake up early and going to bed at late times and I have been since the start but its beginning to impact on my social life. My sleeping pattern has simply been completely fucked up and I'm now sleeping at stupid times like 6:00 AM and waking up at 5:00PM and missing almost a whole day. My parents are beginning to get annoyed because if they do wake me up I'm crabby and grumpy and I'm missing time out with friends. I'm now looking to get back into a normal sleeping pattern but I'm struggling to do so. If anyone has any good recommendations on getting to sleep or tiring myself out then please let me know Needa

if ur having trouble sleeping try using sleep maker app on your phone or going to You must login or register to view this content. and just keep going to bed 30mins-1hour eariler untill u want your sleeping pattern to be right for you. you could also go to your GP and ask for natural sleeping pills to help u sleep Winky Winky hope this helped

Are you high?
Dont eat anything or drink any caffine around 2 hours before you go to bed. This will keep you up because your body is still working on digesting food.

Or if you are going to bed at 6am set an alarm for, say 12pm so you only get 6 hours sleep. You will be tired as hell all day and will sleep like a baby the next night.

I don't drink much caffeine products anyway so that isn't a worry for me.

Also I have tried that but I can't stay awake to save my life :(

Thanks for the tips Smile

I've been in a similar situation.

Method I found most effective is pulling an all-nighter, stay awake all day by going out and doing stuff (try and avoid caffeine if you can), then go to bed nice and early (say 9pm). Give yourself 13/14 hours sleep to compensate for the sleep lost the night before. Once again keep yourself active so you don't fall asleep by accident during the day then go to bed at a decent hour (11pm-1am), then wake up whenever you like.

Use an alarm. Make it wake you up early, and set an alarm for every 5minutes after the first one so you don't fall back asleep. Then just use "delete all" to get rid of the alarms when your awake. Then you'll be really tired that night and go to sleep early. Then do it again, until eventually you will be in a pattern. Worked for me.

Try staying up for 3-4 extra hours each night, then eventually your sleeping pattern will flip back to a regular time, waking up at 10ish. It might take you a couple days to fix it and your social life might suffer for awhile but you'll get there.
:jim:
I'd do it this way because It's easier to stay up longer than it is to go to sleep earlier.
