(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So lately I thoughed about the option becoming a Soldier.

I thinks it's good to defend your country, and help the world. I don't know if there are soldiers on this Forum but i'd like to ask if you are how is it like? and give me some tips.

Defending your country shouldn't be thought of as something good to do.

Defending your country isn't something you do for recognition.

Defending your country isn't all what you see in video games and movies.

I was in the U.S military before it became what it is today...softer then jelly. Discipline is the key. Country, Honor, Courage, Commitment are not just words they drill in your head in boot camp. If your sure your up to the challenge, please by all means do it but don't waste the taxpayers money because things got to hard and you couldn't cut it. A Dishonorable Discharge will screw you every chance it gets.

If your serious about joining then being in the military should be the first and last thing on your mind everyday.

I'm not really a fan of the forces it just seems to get people that have nothing to do with the problems killed. About the only fight that seems important is the war on TERROR though to be honest that's blow out of proportion as it is. 9/11 was luck the chance of that happening again are slim to none and 7/7 in England well like 5 people died that's nothing.

Personally I'd much rather the politicians were dropped in some arena and sorted out there problems in some kind of ring of death manor without dragging other people into it because I can assure you I don't give a fuck and just want to get on with my life with as few interruptions as possible. I live in England and I wouldn't defend this country and have no patriotism whatsoever, at then end of the day it's just a fucking lump of dirt. I still find it incredible that the world cannot all co-operate together for the mutual advancement of the human race though for that to happen I think a few countries need to be removed from the equation *cough" North Korea *cough* China.

But yeah join the army and fight just try not to get killed for your country because it's not something worth dying for.

best of luck if you join.

What's your age? In my opinion never become a soldier, I don't want to fight for corrupt government while they enjoy their life while we at risk? Why?

Edit: You also can kill innocent people as you don't know who they are. The US drones killed more than 250 children.

Good luck,
Suhel

going out to fight for your country is an honour
but The only thing is as it was mentioned before why should people like you go out and fight for a corrupt government ? and they dont really care if we go out and die they will still just sit in an office all day doing nothing but destroying our country
if you decide to be a soldier best of luck but remember its not like you can run out and 360 some guy across a village and if you die you respawn :P this is real life once your shot thats your life done , but as i said best of luck if you decide to join Smile p.s i have lost a brother because of war so think about it before you join Smile goodluck

I think being a soldier can be good or bad depending on what you do. If I was a soldier, I would either be a fighter pilot or try to get into the elite groups like the seals. That is the most interesting stuff to me, but the majority of soldiers will just be patrolling the 110 degree desert all day long or cleaning up after everyone.

The money sucks. The benefits are good. The pride is good. Being away from family sucks. The average job duties suck. Taking orders sucks. Travelling is good. The camaraderie is good.

OP join as an officer if joining at all.

I know I won't respawn, and an extra is that I'm not American.
I'm actually English, living in The Netherlands.. So I will join the Dutch Marines Smile
