I have tried playing the game from both the Drive and the Disc and I get the same problem. It might take 2 hours to shut off, or it might be when the first game starts. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Probably a faulty game download. Does this happen with any other game?

I rarely play anything else on this system. BO2 however, does not crash. But like I said, I have used the MW3 DL and the actual game disc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im very frustrated.

Find another download online. Your PS3 shouldn't shut off like that.

Yes. Any disc will work fine if you just transfer the files through FTP and mount it in Multiman.

Well, if the CD didn't work, it won't do you any good to copy it over to the PS3. Find another copy of the game online and you will have to transfer the files from your PC.

I don't know a reliable place to download the game. Also, this game does not crash my OFW PS. Which is why it is confusing to me, especially not knowing all the ins and outs of DEX or which programs are useful for what.

Try to rebuild the database from the recovery menu.
