I have tried playing the game from both the Drive and the Disc and I get the same problem. It might take 2 hours to shut off, or it might be when the first game starts. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

I guess my question was, it came with mw3 on the HDD, downloaded like the day he shipped it to me. That version crashed. He then told me to have his friend who is contributed or moderator on NGU help me. He in turn charged $50 over two days by doing little more than changing the fan speed in webman and asking me to confirm some settings. Then, had me delete the game save, and play from the disc. After that, well, you probably have a faulty disc, after that, I deleted again and installed with a disc I just bought. So three times I have tried from HDD and I have tried from 2 from the physical disc. Also, it came with BO2 so they keep telling me the system just "doesn't work for MW3"although I have never heard of anyone else having this problem unless it was a heat issue. I digress, so the BO2 will load up, but will never connect to online service. It will stay on that screen until it times out. Of course not having fixed anything at all for the money I have paid him so far, the guy who was helping says it's prob an EBOOT problem that I can solve..... For another fee..... I said if u can guarantee that you have a fix I'll pay you. No guarantees he says. So, what I have left here is a system that is supposedly fine, yet won't connect to BO2 Online, connects online and crashes W MW3 with the option to keep paying this guy for service for no fixes. Lol....... HELP

When I said BO2 does not crash just to clarify, it wouldn't connect to the Online Server, but it didn't crash for the few minutes I played it in Private match. MW3 however crashes whether its offline or online.

Ok, It sounds like you ordered a PS3 from somebody that messed it up and didn't know how to fix it. I would try reinstalling your firmware and hopefully that fixes it. After doing some research, the COD games say they require some different setup to work properly with Cobra. What I have read suggests that in order for Stealth Patch to correctly run COD games they have to be an ISO. Which might be the case, I dunno since the playstation randomly shuts off with the red flashing light rather than just freeze. The clearer things get the more out of focus they are for me. But when reading about the D-Rex Rebug 4.75, it does specifically mention COD games needing to be ran a particular way. Also, the user before me has this set to normal instead of Debug mode, and I think I read that it needs to be in Debug mode.
