If I was an owner of a GYM, I would make an advertisement to get more people. PEOPLE= MONEY. A costumer pays to exercise in your GYM so you eventually make a profit.

However, in the ARMY, you don't pay anything, you participate, and that's what it should be. Nowadays we got commercials about how cool the army is with its advanced technology. First of all, they are using money from our taxes, which is not why we pay taxes in the first place. Second of all, advertisements are for you to buy a product, in the ARMYs case, it's to influence you to JOIN the ARMY by showing you cool things you can use while you're in it (which you wont even use).
For the ARMY, if you are going to make a commercial to have new recruits, why would you lie in a commercial? Obvious scam from our government, which manipulates people to join for stupid reasons.

You join the Army right? You join a gym? How do you go about joining one of the two? You get motivation right? See my point? Now I'm am in no way comparing the two in any other way. The shit you see in the commercials is used but there's more too it.

And have you talked to any veterans from the Iraq/Afghanistan war that weren't just NCO infantry? Depending on what you enlist for you could be dealing with high tech shit.

more people = more grants from goverment.. more grants = better technology better guns ect and as we all know the biggest leaps of techology happen during war, and the american army realy needs better training, OMG friendly fire 15% of allied deaths in iraq where caused by american friendly fire

america starts alot of wars therefore they need alot of troops, comercials/advertisement effects everyone instead of a post on a bus or what ever people see this and think hey i could do this,

and we know technology and big guns are "turn on's" so yeh we'll put that in our advertisement
