The Xbox has been outselling the PS3 the last few months but why is a mystery to me.
There are a bunch of reasons to own one of the big three consoles, but this thread focuses on PS3 and why, if you already don't own one. Sure it’s the third home console from Sony and had the advantage of following the Playstation 2, one of the most popular home console in all the of video gaming’s history and with all reason to as it took gaming in all aspects to the next level. But you can’t write the PS3 off as successful just because the first two consoles from Sony did very well. As you’ll see by the reasons below, the PS3 has a lot more going for it than just some great lineage. So get reading these reasons why you should own one and be sure to buy one if you already havn't.

#1 One of the best Blu-Ray players available.

#6 Wi-fi since day one. If you bought your Xbox 360 prior to E3, you need to buy a wireless adaptor. The PS3 has been wireless since launch.

I had an Xbox 360, it got Red Ring, Microsoft sent me a New one, it happened again now I don't have anything, and planning to get a PS3 but the issue is I have to buy all the games again :'( and going to miss the Activition Exclusives, GoW, Halo, and some other one's. But PS3 is the way to go with MW2 and FIFA World Cup 2010.

Ok sure ps3 is better in all those aspects. but lets look at it this way

Sony: A hardware company. Makes things from computers to mp3;s to tv;s. no duh its gonna have the best hardware. hardware is sony's strong point. you cant act like its all great when sony is just doing what there basic job is, make good hardware.

Microsoft: A software company. Xbox always has the best software and servers. Quickest updates and best interfaces. It isnt that special considering all microsoft does is software.

Nintendo: A gaming company. Nintendo often gets many one of a kinds games for its consoles. Most original and family friendly games. Its what nintendo has been doing all along.

So just think. Each consoles excels at what its creator excels at. Dont praise certain consoles over the other because they all have advantages. Sony wont beat MS software, just as MS wont beat sony hardware. and none will have the originality of nintendo.

I can only say amen at 5 & 9. God of War and Uncharted make the PS 3 a must have. And then with GT 5 coming, it only becomes even more of a must have.
