PS3 = Superior?
The Xbox has been outselling the PS3 the last few months but why is a mystery to me.
There are a bunch of reasons to own one of the big three consoles, but this thread focuses on PS3 and why, if you already don't own one. Sure it’s the third home console from Sony and had the advantage of following the Playstation 2, one of the most popular home console in all the of video gaming’s history and with all reason to as it took gaming in all aspects to the next level. But you can’t write the PS3 off as successful just because the first two consoles from Sony did very well. As you’ll see by the reasons below, the PS3 has a lot more going for it than just some great lineage. So get reading these reasons why you should own one and be sure to buy one if you already havn't.
#1 One of the best Blu-Ray players available.

#2 Playstation Network (PSN) is free. Xbox LIVE can’t say that.

One thing you forgot to mention is that the ps3's core processor is 100x better than the 360's, developers have yet tap into its true potential yet.

faster updates!!!... that dont matter our updates might be a little slow but the ps3 is still the alpha after all comparison :p

well said, console wars are bogus are childish, this is what i wanted to say, but couldnt say it in such a well put together post..congrats on putting it together for people to see, sony was naturally born to do games with great hardware, MS the same, MAYBEEEE..the companies down the road will correlate and make a system together(yea right) implementing both sony and MS components. but..as business goes..thatll never happen.

we know the PC will always surpass ps3 or xbox why bring this into the picture, PS3 wasent trying to take the place of a pc (even tho if you wanted you probbaly could use it like a pc)
and wait for it... xbox 360 will never surpass ps3 no matter how much crap u add into it 1 simple FACT PS3 is more powerful AND has BluRay

dont even try and compare PS3 bundles to 360 bundles for 350 you get a game the system with a 250GB HDD 2 controllers a mic and a month of live to me thats better then going out and getting a mie 1 controller and a stupid DVD remote with your PS3 bundle maybe you can sit and watch all trailers for the games you want lol
now about the controller PS3 has the cheapest controllers alive i bought a brand new slim in a month my x button was jammed in when i bought a PS3 at launch i had it for 3years i went through probably 8 controllers
your blu-ray take it and shove it i bought a video game system for one reason to play online not watch movies so of course i pick the system with the best online there is and thats the 360 PSN doesnt even come close to Live you cant even compare them the only thing PSN has over Live is you dont pay 50 a year to play
but you own both systems so you should know all of this lol
