Infamously-known world wide for his hacking abilities, console hacker GeoHot released an unauthorized code last week which allowed hackers to use illegal content on the PS3, tricking the console into thinking the software has been authorized by Sony.

Sony commented on the hacks earlier today:

htey didnt really fail, look how long it took for anyone to even get this far and tweak files and hardware, it look way less time to do it with xbox and jtagging. sony did a better job with the security, yet not good enough to keep the pros out.
