Infamously-known world wide for his hacking abilities, console hacker GeoHot released an unauthorized code last week which allowed hackers to use illegal content on the PS3, tricking the console into thinking the software has been authorized by Sony.
Sony commented on the hacks earlier today:

Good Point, Sony did the best job with their security but they told us it was unhackable...

I called sony about getting a jailbreak (sorry no recording i was being serious about it) and they put me on hold for like 20 minutes and said that you will NEVER get in trouble for using ANY CUSTOM PATCHS, FIRMWARE ETC. so we are free to hack and not get in trouble!

Just cause i have few posts doesnt mean im a little kid. I might not be an insane hacker but i at least know how to make patches and understand how to mod

Wont this all depend on the outcome of the case with geohot ? or is it over now if he won we can jailbreak if sony win they brick your ps3
