[CONFIRMED] Black Ops Servers Not Being Shutdown

A lot of rumors have been swirling that the Black Ops servers will be shut down. Well thanks to Nickjcal of TitanReviews and N4G, and JD2020 we now know that is false. Lets take a look at the email conversation.

Fortunately, that was just a misunderstanding and a quote from one of our representatives was taken out of context and created a lot of confusion. We can assure you that the Call of Duty: Black Ops servers are not being shut down, and this is a false alarm. We are sorry for any inconvenience or unnecessary worries this may have caused, but as of now, there are absolutely no plans for the servers to be taken down.

I dug a little deeper into this and found a tweet from JD_2020 (Josh Olin, Community Manager of Black Ops). He to has confirmed that all this is a big misunderstanding.

well any way people that say black ops are just bad at the game if you went 50-4 every game you would love it and if you go 10-43 your just bad lol. i know they wouldnt shut them down there gonna make 1mill+ from map packs

I don't think it was a 12 year old, It probably started because of the hackers and someone had a bright idea that the servers were shutting down but Activision wouldn't allow that. Activision is a greedy company that needs to clone three skating games to make money.

What a waste of scanning terms of service and advertisements of Black Ops today now I don't need any of the stuff I found.
