An independent gaming pressure group has told IncGamers it is to report Activision to the Office of Fair Trading after the publisher failed to respond to an open letter regarding the buggy ‘unfinished’ versions of Black Ops on PC and PS3.
Gamers’ Voice sent a letter to Activision back on December 22, saying that they have been ‘inundated with complaints from people who have bought copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops. They all concern the PlayStation 3 console and PC versions of the game.’
In the letter they asked Activision to 'recompense' people who bought Black Ops for PC or PS3. They gave Activision one month to respond, but they never did.

IncGamers was motivated to do this by Trading Standards telling them players should get a refund.

im gonna laugh when activision has to fix the servers and make ps3's just the same as xbox and microsoft looses all that money they bribed them with. either way, i dont really care what they do because black ops is a crap game..

I looked at a tour of the treyarch offices and i didnt see 1 ps3.

REFUND!?!?!?! Don't kid yourself bud.. they're not gonna give us shit all. All we can do is complain and be ignored. Maybe one day sony will put up some cash for the legit release, but don't get your hopes up. Clearly sony is FAILZOR on customer support. Not to mention Craptivision over here.. :rolleyes:

well, activision may want it better for xbox due to the agreements they have in place for map packs and such..and w.e they got going on. but i still think treyarch fails at using a proper graphics engine. and if they went 1 month longer on release...they could do beta testing, and while it was beta tested by thousands, code could be added...and bam...alot of issues resolved and life goes on. but..bottom line for game companies isnt to make us happy..its to make a profit. they are publicly shared companies, so the next time we all buy from activision..we all buy from greed, lack of care. and money hungry share holders who care less about our wants, and only care about their lined pockets. sorry for the rant, i felt i was on a roll. but its true.

I don't think we will ever get a refund, I think they would rather invest in some better servers then give the customer their money back. The franchise will eventually be killed by greed, its up to the customer if we will continue to make Activision's pockets fatter. How many people are going to buy the map packs when they come out? LOTS! So lets be real, things will only get better when we refuse to buy the product.
