My how the tables have turned once again. A surprising turn of events occurred the other day. In regards with the court case between George Hotz (Geohot) and the Sony Corporation. The Judge overhearing the case actually went into the favor of Sony Corporation.
The judge decided California did indeed have jurisdiction of the case and granted Sony's request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against George Hotz.
What does this mean? It means that he has to surrender his PC's, PlayStation 3 consoles and just basically anything he used while hacking into the PlayStation 3 console/gaming equipment.
So in this thread I would like to see what your comments about this is. Do you feel bad for him or do you agree? Can't wait to see what you guys have to comment on.

You really need to reframe what you're saying. You're saying you guys are doing the hacking, when you're not. It's one person exploiting it, he's not only jailbreaking it he's ruining the games we spent our hard earned money on. There's a difference between jail breaking and changing the game.
You guys don't even exist without Geohotz, Sony will win. They always will win.

Actually, no... He was given the windows 7 phone from microsoft. The phone has already been created an also already been jailbroken. Microsoft simply gave him the phone an said do as you wish. No talk of a job, yet. If i were in charge of a company like Sony or Microsoft, and the kid got into my "unhackable" system, I would have had to hire the guy for sure!

I mean im ALL for Geohot and everything. Like he is in someways an idol of mine, but Im also very intrested in law. So is it really all they could do, or is it all that they WANTED to do?

Well hip hip hurray the big man decides to act as 'the good guy' proving me wrong, a 14 year old kid who decides to stand up state his opinion + I bought it with my own money too i do have a paper round to EARN money to buy my own games and its my choice of doing this to my game, i dont go around de-ranking total strangers i do it in private matches for me and my friends purely for fun to fly around and play zombies on mw2 with more than 4 players we find it great so if you say that ruins the game's people spend money on then id hate to be you.:dingding:
