Following up from the rumors surrounding the new studio "Project Beachhead", there now seems to be a paid subscription fee coming.

A couple of days ago, Activision announced the establishment of this new studio but didn't go into too much detail. Well now Wedbush Securities video game industry analyst Michael Pachter, says that you will indeed be paying to play future Call of Duties.

Patcher will be watching for console stats. He will be focused on seeing if one "side" starts charging and the other remains free.

Are you guys willing to pay the subscription fee? I'm personally hoping Battlefield 3 will be good, because that's what's getting my money.

Call of duty is dying, if this happen it's definitely DEAD to me. I will never pay Activision another cent after doing such crap games.

I'm not paying a subscription for another game Not Happy or Sad cmon I still gotta pay for WoW and hopefully there will always be free FPS games.

I persoanlly won't be paying that.
Looks like I'll be playing the new battlefeild or some other FPS if BF is not too good.
