Following up from the rumors surrounding the new studio "Project Beachhead", there now seems to be a paid subscription fee coming.
A couple of days ago, Activision announced the establishment of this new studio but didn't go into too much detail. Well now Wedbush Securities video game industry analyst Michael Pachter, says that you will indeed be paying to play future Call of Duties.

Patcher will be watching for console stats. He will be focused on seeing if one "side" starts charging and the other remains free.
Are you guys willing to pay the subscription fee? I'm personally hoping Battlefield 3 will be good, because that's what's getting my money.

Outrage... I mean how can they have the cheek to do something like this (if it happens) when they don't even have/give proper post game support...
All it takes is a look at a PC game such as Starcraft 2, to realise how little the dev's actually care about the CoD series, and then they want to start charging us extra to play broken games with many floors in?
I could understand it if the game's actually had decent post-launch support from the dev's, and if they had the enjoyment of CoD 4, but do they? NO.

Does Activison really think they make that great of a game? Holy shit they are cocky! I hope KZ3 and BC3 kicks their ass in sales.
I also find it hilarious how the guy says "I think $5 a month is reasonable."
Yeah definately, considering all the other games are free... That's all IW and Activison care about these days anyway. Money Money Money.

They sell over a million copies of BO and then on top of that another 1 million copies for the map pack (Xbox) and now they want more?
