Infamous hacker, George Hotz, recently asked his fans for donations to cover his legal fees following the Sony lawsuit on his PlayStation 3 hack.

A few days ago Hotz commented that he has acquired enough money from the donations to pay his lawyers; however, recent speculation suggests that Microsoft may have contributed a large sum of the legal fees Hotz needed.

The information was supposedly leaked from a source close to Hotz, who has asked to remain anonymous to ensure it does not damage Hotz' defence.

Microsoft previously offered George Hotz money to hack the Windows 7 phone, so this speculation could prove to be true.

It's is only a rumor, but Microsoft is being smart, baby-ing all the people who can hack their products, and patching the hacks so no one can do it. Sony on the other hand is using force... fake and gay.

Bill Gate Doesn't Take Part In Microsoft Anymore He Stepped Out But Still Owns A Large Amount Of Shares But Their Are Many Others That Have Lots Of Shares Also That Control Microsoft That Would Do A Dirty Deal Like This.

Well I really want Geohot to go to jail and for sony to win, i mean sony sucks but hey, you cant go around hacking games, it ruins the game, you buy a game for 60$ to play it and to enjoy it not to hack it and become 1st in seconds, like its unfair how some have to spend months to get to 10th for example while other can do it in 5 minutes.

But this is a good rumor =D
