I'd have to go with San Andreas because it had my favorite protagonist, it had my favorite weapons, it had my favorite vehicles, CUSTOMIZATION, i liked the story, you felt accomplished at the end, fun side quests, and of course NOSTALGIA.

I remember playing Vice City when I was a kid with my cousin, we would never stop playing it, it seemed like the game had endless possibilities and that we could do whatever we wanted. So I'll have to say Vice City for this reason.

Definitely "San Andreas" After san andreas gta went backwards they took out like 80% of the stuff you could do in san andreas and they took out 100% of the fun gta4 went backwards and imo was the worst gta...

I think San Andreas was possibly the best GTA game ever made to date, everything was just perfect to be honest! spent many hours on that game!
