With the PSN being hit recently, many gamers are actually considering the switch. The forbidden betrayal a gamer makes as he switches over to a rival console is bittersweet. Its been ten days since the PSN was down. With the risk of hackers having our credit card information as well as our personal information, making the switch is presented as an escape.

A survey taken by CouponCodes4U asked 2,132 people a bundle of questions regarding the current PSN situation. 21% of the answers revealed that users are more than likely to make the switch between consoles. Shockingly, the loss for Sony is dramatic, and is expected to be along $24 billion.

As depressing as this may be for many gamers, I'm sure once this whole thing blows over, we will all be back to the happy days of online gaming. Hopefully, Sony will learn from what has happened and won't let this happen in the future, hopefully.

I'm surprised only that little, maybe because of money, but they could just sell their PS3 for it I guess. No good titles, especially after The Agency was cancelled, unless you love Little Big Planet. I would definitely not go back to a console that has been easily hacked liked that, stealing everyone's information, especially to a company that hid this several months ago. (Yes, reliable sources say Sony had a similar attack several months ago, but did not release any intel on it.)

I have seen several PS users on the 360 lately too, all with their Playstation names in their bio and motto, etc. Most of them have sounded really mad about what happened, and are almost all very little annoying kids. 0_o

Console gaming has gotten pretty boring, ps3 was so much better. I wish I could go back to the way it was on cod4, when you could play for fun not so much competitveness it's a game.

I would never switch to xbox even though PS3 has been down for a few weeks now, a few of my mates have xbox's and i just can't get used to the controller, i am just so used to the PS3 one.

Is it really that hard to get used to the controller guys? Im asking because I might get an Xbox 360 and keep my PS3 to have both consoles... I have honestly never played an Xbox. I am thinking the only thing that would throw me off is the offset joy-sticks. Eek Someone who has made the switch already might be able to help me?
