Following the tragic massacre in Norway, Call of Duty has been pulled from two major retailers. Not only has Call of Duty been removed from shelves, but other violent first person shooters have also been pulled.

One of the stores, called Coop, made a statement saying:

Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: World at War Platinum, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Classic, Homefront, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Counter-Strike Source, and World of Warcraft have all been pulled from the store shelves at Coop.

Another store chain called Platekompaniet has also removed various shooters and other games from it's shelves.

Although the shooter from the incident, Anders Breivik, stated he had very little interest in first person shooters, he did state:

[Modern Warfare 2 was] "part of my training simulation…You can more or less completely simulate actual operations."

Breivik did spend a lot of time using video games, but he was more geared towards RPGs and fantasy titles. He was a self proclaimed World of Warcraft addict. It is believed he made the claims of addiction to cover up the time he spent meticulously planning his attack.

So what are your opinions? Do you think that these games should have been pulled due to the attack? Are his claims that he used violent, first person shooters to plan his attack justification enough to deprive consumers of a product that they have the right to purchase?

The C.I.A made it up as an excuse to send troops to the middle east to take oil from oil rich countries.. Why are the U.S in Libya?

Libya has oil.

What was the name of the operation in Iraq?

Operation
Iraqi
Liberation

Read downwards.

Sure thing, bro. :y:

Al Qaeda definitely exists. You must login or register to view this content.

It's just up to people to interpret what actions were indeed their's or not. Conspiracy theories never catch my attention, and why? There's no evidence.

If there was evidence, it wouldn't be a "theory".

Saw this coming after the Modern Warfare 2 statement was released. I feel this won't have too much affect though because within a couple years I believe that we will not be using discs for games anymore, everything will be downloaded.

Misguided gesture. Of course the intentions are good but the logical behind it isn't too strong. One isolated incident ruins it for the everybody else. How many people play video games then feel violent afterwards? "omg I just sniped a bunch of guys on COD, imma go on my roof at snipe my neighbors" C'mon. Really? Oh well, thank goodness for internet shopping.

Wow.. Ayman al Zawahiri does exist, it's the same as Osama. C.I.A trained him..

And also, it's not really a theory, they even jokingly said on the Onion news network that "In other news, C.I.A insists, Al Qaeda IS a thing!"
