Sony has just released the newest version of PlayStation Network (PSN). This new version is version 4.0 and its main goal is to support the PSVita, which will be released in Japan on December 17th, 2011. The update only brings two new features to the PlayStation 3.

This update is a bit disappointing specially since it's labeled PlayStation Network 4.0 and I was expecting some new exciting features that we would be able to brag about to our Xbox friends. It's also not that exciting since US and EU have to wait until February 2012 for the PSVita so this update is basically pointless to any PSN user outside of Japan. What do you guys think of the new update?

The only reason for PS3 to be better is because it was relased a year after the XBOX. SONY HAD TO WAIT FOR THE XBOX TO COME OUT SO THEY COULD ADD STUFF TO THEIR CONSOLE.

You can't compare the PS3 and the Xbox graphics when the grpahics and the game is designed for the Xbox and then is ported over to the PS3 as the Ps3 has higher graphic capabilities.

i think personally PS3 are crap great on first update when it basically had nothing no trophies no 3D update that arived in 3.30 which caused playstation 3's to **** up also i think sony are quite a bit slow i mean ps2 and xbox not 360 the xbox was a better faster console which also had the ability to play and load games faster due to higher ram and stuff now ps3 and xbox 360 i have had them both also had a ps2 and an xbox liked the xbox more although joypad was awful but when ps3 came out when it first came out it had no duel shock joypad or vibration in the joypad also the battery dies quite quick on joypad also you can brick your ps3 by turning it on and off a few times by the wall if its the fat version and sony charge you £100 + to fix also the XMB is quite good but gets boring and gets buggier as more updates come truethfully i think a ps3 isn't a console i think its just meant for media but i must say blueray gives it one good thing but media servers are quite slow and had a lot of issues with them and xbox well i have had no problems every update is something pretty good like new dashboards and stuff along with the dashboards also i have never had my dashboard be slow also the xbox is epic at multi tasking like playing a game online while listening to music from a media server while in party chat or private chat xbox also has way more exclusives like gears of war, minecraft (not released yet), indie games, arcade games, also facebook, twitter, youtube,muzu.tv etc... also when ps4 and the new xbox is released im getting the xbox as well i lost my account due to sony getting hacked and also sony don't let you get your account deactivated also they have poor customer service like when my ps3 stopped reading discs they were gonna charge me £120 and xbox has well great customer service as my brother got a preowned xbox360 slim 4GB and wifi never worked he rang them up they collected his xbox free of charge gave him a brand new xbox360 slim 4GB a years xbox live and a letter saying sorry about your wifi not working here is a years xbox live sorry for the inconvinence

it's not unacceptable as they use there own funds and you's don't pay for PSN so yeah you will get LAG and i know it's terrible but people who xbox pay for xbox live which gets us dedicated servers and exclusives other cool things like dashboards and stuff even though you's are comparing games like uncharted and halo well to be fair ps3 has blueray so yeah it will win like that but if xbox had blueray the xbox will win due to anti analysing here watch this and every other episode
