Trying to find a way to do chassis and engine swaps, I found this stock/factory color hack.. This is a stock fiat 500, 68'.. Here is step by step how it was done.. Enjoy!!
Choose the car you want to change the factory color, save the game and save the data to a USB, flash drive or memory stick..

Make a backup file, and open the saved data in your computer with brute force, and decrypted the data..
(DONT FORGET TO MAKE A BACKUP DATA.. IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR DAMAGED DATA!!!)

Open HXD and do CRTL + G and type "E880"

Now, you will look for the number after the 8 FF after the body code.. (It's after the "74" we used to put to hack in update 2.14)

And you will change for any lower number you want.. If the number is 00, you can go up 01, 02..
(NOTE: If you put a number of a color that not exist, the game will not load. Is always better to go lower than higher.. Color and number will vary depending on cars.. This won't work on cars that have only one factory color.. In the free tickets area in garage editor 1.3, you can see how many color each car has)

Save the new saved data into your PS3, run the game, and go to Auto GT..

Now, change the rims or spoiler to make the car data update..

I have a friend on PSN that works with sony and tests all the latst patches in games and he told me there are still loads of loop holes in which we can get the cars to do what we want aka engine swaps chassis swaps ect.. but he said he cant tell me where they are as it would put his job on the line but i just thought i would let you know that hacking on GT5 2.15 is definately still possible.

I don't want offend anyone, but without any sort of proof, I may as well say I have a Delta Wing in GT5.

Why would i lie about something like that he said that there are still ways to get round the 2.15 update patch. apparently there is a code that you can change not the 74 or LUCA one but somewhere else in the GT5.0 file but i don't know where at the moment i have been trying everything i can think of but haven't found it yet but the only thing is he won't tell me where it is because it would be breech of his contract and he would get fired for releasing the information. He also said it only takes one person to crack the patch and then it will get leached out via people on youtube and facebook ect... but this update might have been the last one as GT6 is coming out soon

is possible to ask your friend where we have to look? the cardata itself, the short cardata or mayby somewhere else? just need something to motivate myself. i did some testing on the cardata itself and short cardata but nothing. i know someone that is a pro in coding and he also didn't find anything after a quick look at it. like voodoovaj allready replyd, what's the harm in putting us in a certain direction...?

If what you are saying is true UltimateX-Modz how would ANYONE find out he gave you details on where to start looking?
If he would indeed tell you, you can take all the credit for yourself, then you can look like the hero. I don't care and i'm sure no one else will either... I just want my hybrids back :cry:
