I used a translator on all of the Japanese text and nothing worth while was said. Nothing about how to mod, but it's very possible that R34miku found a way to mod again as the title obviously says "GT5 Ver,2.15 likely to stall 4Rotor" when translated.

I also found this when I translated some more.

"Performance was back in as it is sound NA Roadster topped with four rotor wenkel that was back to normal the car made of course update Ver.2.15 measures! I came at last"

But there is still hope! It's still possible to mod again.

I'm surprised they are still bothering to patch this, it's really no fun with-out the hack's! Now that we know it's possible to edit the game data it's just a matter of time before somebody finds out how to edit it, again! Happy

How long until GT6 is hacked... >Happy

Can’t trickshot me!
Not sure if:

- video is fake because we're not really seeing the version he is on and it might be some old stuff recently uploaded (or I'm too blind to see anything interesting)
= easy (first and foremost my blindness)

or:

- kaz is trolling us hard just because he can
= unlikely

or:

- I'm totally wrong with my guessing and I'm not respecting the guy who found the possibility for modding on 2.15
= my wishes for the community Awesome face

Finding the correct hex is like one huge game of hide and seek, it's there, just have to find it!

Which sucks though cause I have NO idea where to look. The GT5.0 file is large and it's time consuming with the transferring of the usb stick from ps3 to laptop back to ps3 so on and so fourth is a pain in the a$$. Im no coding professional by far, but im trying my hardest.

GT5 is so lame without modding, it absolutely brings a new life to a dying game imo.

I think that video is real, I say that cause I found other vids of R34miku of which he modded cars on 2.14, so why would he post only one video on Nov 2nd or whatever date it was saying 2.15 if it's a fake? That's why I think it's real and he found a way.

Yes GT5 has become less lively without hacks /swaps imo.The hacks allowed you to be more creative and unique with your personal vehicles in the GT5 online environment. You never knew what kind of swap you would come across next, most fun with realistic hack/swaps I really miss it, is why I haven't updated I've grown attached to my motor/turbo/drive-train swaps now I just play split screen drag with my friends for now.Anyway this has happened what like 3 times before I'm positive we will bounce back again.
