Thank You for the link and also the story of the background. I'm grateful for Your guidance.

It seems that in every day there is opportunity to learn something new if we are looking around with open mind.

F.I.T.T. is a long established group of tuners on GTPlanet who have regular contests with various combinations of cars and tracks. Anyone can enter as a tuner or test driver, and it's generally accepted as a proving ground for the very best Gran Turismo tuners. All of Gran Turismo's best and most prolific tuners are there, routinely posting tunes so that anyone can try them because they aren't afraid to showcase their work through competitions. The true tuning legends of the GT series like MotorCityHami, Praiano, Krenkme, CSLACR and many others are all there. These guys have posted literally thousands of tunes between them in GT5-6 and many are some of the very fastest GT pilots as well. CSL for example is Division 1 Gold in the WRS, the highest possible ranking for GT pilots in the WRS. MotorCityHami also races in real life. You should join and try a few of them out, I've entered as both a tuner and test driver and if you're into GT6, it can be great fun and a great learning experience. All of the best tuned cars I've ever driven have been through F.I.T.T. test driving.

That is some funny Bullshit, load of crap but sure was funny.

JP always has Jokes, those Prolific tuners are all crying about smoking tires and burning through tires with tire wear turned off ROFLMFAO

Thats a load of Propaganda, nothing but bullshit.. If outsiders saw FiTT like that it would be different, but NOPE, NOBODY except peeps in FiTT think FiTT is anything more then a bunch of Google Tuners using Assist who think way to much of themselves..

Come on Johnny, don't you want to be my Proxy lololol

Best is relative, and they are not tuning legends, good enough for kids or noob or casual driving them. Praino has left GTP with sour note. WRS means shit. All BS made up for their own fame and gain.

The only cool tuner there is Exeter GT Tuning, Shaun, he holds the most active tuning garage that caters casual, and the next one is ridox. End of.

Ridox posted a replay of one of his online race tune, and it has no smoke, with no changes to suit the track used in fit hatch comp, he did test lap, and low 1:54s. He said 1:53 can be done with no change to the tune that was not made for the track. If he entered the fitt thing, he would have 3:49s or less combined time, if comparing those lame tuner in the fitt saying their time will have around 3:51s

He just posted tvr speed 12, holy shit !!!! lots of replay with awesome time on cs tire, damn insane, I would drift all the way on cs catching him. His bathurst and tsukuba lap would be a sight to behold, damn good man.
That shows how one knows how to tune and drive.

if you want prove, drive the audi ttrs replica, it's so close to my car, the damn car is amazing. I saw ridox fan club did a race with the TTRS vs 370z at nordchelife, and they all praise the car, that's how you know someone did a good job. I won't even dare to race with such hardcore rules, cs tire, tire wear very fast, 30 minutes race at the ring on replica tune, a whole different league to the fitt bs.

Thak You Sinist3r, I'll wait odefinns setup.

Also thank You rockets, I found places of Ridox and Exeter, I'll start there. I think there are much to learn also in Fitts place, they cannot be that bad, at least I'm sure they are much better than me. Purpose of all those places are good - helping people to have more fun of this game. It's good to let all flowers grow, some are better than others, but all are flowers.

Flowers are easy to test. Check Miura, the ultimate challenge for every tuners and the only car I couldn't make drivable by myself. Sinist3r found the key and now I can drive it.

I keep tyre wear very much on my mind. And at last every driver must find from some starting point a good setup for own driving style.

I'm grateful for the ideas I have gotten from this forum.

I may harp on FiTT guys a lot but the reality is they are not the suckiest of the sucky. They are decent tuning and driving feeling shit out in the game. My issue is when Dude like Johnny talk about them like they are Gods, the deciding factor on tuning, and act like they are much much more than they actually are. Those FiTT guys trashed the Lambo tune as it doesn't conform to they FiTT tuning style.. Funny thing is many of the guys at FiTT are modest, or simply recognize they are just learning and experimenting and probably not fully aware how some people run around preaching about FiTT like they are Gods. My issues with FiTT are more surrounding there being no levels of skill. Testers are free to use any assist they like so long as they run all cars with the same assist settings... That's just fucked up.. and certainly NOT a way to find the best of the best, and that would be fine if they were not represented like they are the best of the best or used as a means to belittle others who IMO have much more talent and skill tuning. FiTT comps are often used to belittle Ridox tunes and hes the best fucking tuner on GTPlanet, FiTT comps are used to belittle really good tunes to promote straight up dog shit that get tossed after each comp...

Ive been promoting Ridox tunes for a while now before his garage in GTP got its current traction and honestly his garage would of taken off a lot sooner had it not been for members of FiTT belittling his work. I hope I've influence some to head over to his shop to try out a tune of his, chances are they don't regret it, and Im glad to have pointed another at a garage where they can find a lot of good times.

Beware. This guy is a troll. Most probably paid (badly?) for spreading his two faced arguments. Not just here, but on other forums as well..
You might want to make up your own mind about him, by reading into some history of this thread. I guess, 10 pages are enough..
While some strange things are going on at GTP about thread moderation, I don't fully condemn it. You might be able to find some useful information there..
*EDIT*
EDIT: at times. When mods over there didn't choose to fully rape a thread and just delete pages of it.

Dude, Seriously?
Another prime exaxmple of your bad and ragged trolling attempts. You are very well aware of the fact (and on top are also glad) that SiNiST3R can't post on GTP. Let alone post tunes on entering a contest..
And all of this, while praising "reasoned adult discussions" (which I quoted from mind).
Yet again, discussion style of a 12 year old. At best.. Might be lower in age (in terms of discussion style) - I'm not such a "scene guy" and thus can't fully tell.

Sure. Like 12 years old "handle" stuff. *facepalm*
Again.. On another occasion.. It really fits my picture..
Here's to you:

My issue is, when he begins to talk at all. I'm considering calling the NGU mods about his trolling. It is just annoying..

This kind of competition is one way to measure tuners cars. If it's increasing fun factor then it's ok. It can also make tuners profile little bit higher and it might also courage some new tuners to send their setups, that's why this kind of competition has very positive side.

I might think too much about real world: setup is for one individual driver and it's based on drivers feedback. Good mechanic ( best tuner ) have skills to change setup to directions what driver want. And good driver have ability to give precise feedback about the cars wanted and unwanted behaviour. Good driver can also drive laps at the same time ( very little time difference ). That way is possible to measure affects of different setups. At the same time there are other factors to think for ex tyre wear etc.

Because of my real world thinking, I find it impossible to find the best of the best tuner by measuring average times of different drivers. Of course there comes one result, but for me as a driver the worlds best setup is useless if it doesn't fit on my hand.

There is one thing what I'm missing in tuners garages:
There is normally one setup witch is the spot on for somebody. But what if I want more aggressive front end turning, more stable rear end, more oversteering or understeering? There is no hint about those things ( the cars are different, common knowledgeable isn't enough). What happens? After a long work I have finally reach a point where the car follows my eyes. Now there is a fast setup for me - among horrible tyre wear, smoke from the front tyres, useless car with cs tyres etc.
So, I'm missing alternatives for different driving styles. Yes, I know. It's a lot to ask.

Your talking stuff an actual tuner can help you with, settings clickers or wizards wont know where to start they will just point you at their tune with a few tweaks they leave in most often to vary the tune conforming to different trains of thought, like giving 2 camber settings, one for those that use camber and another 0.0/0.0 for those who think cambers broken...

If you have a set up that you like how it performs but need a slight tweak or want to change how it performs completely, you bring the car and set up to a Tuner for some Tuning Sessions. You sit in the car make some laps, tuner asks you some questions and gives tweaks to try, driver then hits the track for some more laps and comes back and answers some more questions from the tuner, tuner gives more tweaks. Rinse, Wash, Repeat. It takes some time, best done with a live session.

Just had an hour session with the Nissan 2020 GT-R VGT just love that car on SS tires. Its like a Nissan GT-R to compete with the likes of the 918 or P1 and laFerrari. So Fast, such sharp handling & wow looks like a stealth fighter jet on wheels. I wasnt all that in love with the line when it was being teased but since its been out for a while now I've come to very much like the sharp edgy style of it... Awesome car even if only a Concept car. I like the direction Nissan envision the GT-R going.
