(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is my Garage, Ill post various set ups here as Demo cars for My Real World Style Tuning. These cars are all tuned for zero assist and using the tuning techniques I go over in my various threads on tuning. I will put up examples of my tuning tools at work, and I plan to post videos showing how I use my tuning tools to demonstrate what they can do for tuners.

Unlike many if not most tuning garages for Gran Turismo, these cars are NOT tuned to be the absolute fastest cars possible, my cars are tuned to feel as real as possible within the limitations of GT6 and a Console Game. They are tuned with no assist and using real world tuning principles and practices. Cars built with ABS-1 to go as fast as possible throw real world tuning out the window in favor of glitch/exploit tuning, anything to go faster. While ABS can be used to simply make driving a bit easier, it can also be used to run unrealistic settings in unrealistic ways. Those are Alien Space Ships with Alien Drivers, my cars emphasize on the Simulation aspect while Alien Cars go for Arcade all the way while "saying" SiM.

Please do not post set ups in here, although you can post request for cars you would like me to tune.

Stock Cars with a Great Drive Section

In this section I will highlight cars in GT6 that need no tuning at all. Cars that drive so great out the box its almost a shame to touch anything, and the real world character is captured in the game remarkably. These are not cars that just handle good stock. These are cars that behave as the real cars do and so driving them can give a great experience to the user.

Please do not post set ups in here, although you can post request for cars you would like me to tune. I would appreciate if people do not post set ups in here as this is my Garage for showcasing my set ups.

MURDER MUIRA

This is such a quick car I can see it being a killer, most thinking it will end up in the dirt but I think it will sit at the top of many podiums at the end of the day. If your lining up and you see this Murder Muira get ready to chase for second place.

Tuned for Online Racing at 550pp running RS tires, this is a BASE Set Up, because I'm racing this car also How you get her to 550pp will be up to you and the set up is a tuning starting point, driver may find benefits tweaking the tune a bit to their driving style or particular track however the base set up is well rounded and generally fast.

Ride Height
90/95
Spring Rates
7.00/7.00
Comp
5/3
Ext
6/5
Antiroll bars
6/2
Camber(-)
4.0/3.5
Toe
-0.50/0.55

Transmission it will depend on the performance parts installed I suggest using the Max Slider to track tune. I might add a gear set in the future that can be track tuned with the FD.

Differential
I/A/D
5/20/10

Brakes set to start at 5/5

At this point the car will be super super tight, except you may notice its tight tight tight until a lil throttle oversteer if your too hefty on the pedal, the rear wing option can cool this down at this point. I like the rear end still having the ability to get pushed out on throttle as the tune allows for it to be caught with a lil counter steer vs most that snap spin at that point.

First step is figuring if your going for the wing or not remembering the tune will be tight. Once decided use ONLY as much down force as you need JUST for that lil bit of rear stability.

Tested, it's a fucking monster.

Setup works on full boost aswell but it really needs the wing for the downforce. (Used 15 on downforce).

Literally smoked Pescarolo's and Weider's with it on Midfield.

EDIT (only if you're taking requests): I'm trying to get a good setup on the fully boosted 787b for online races. But atm, only got the gearbox correctly. I'm smoking tires at startup and she's slipping alot in corners. Any luck you could help me a bit with that one?

Thanks for checking it out and certainly glad you like it. Yeah I'll take a look at the 787b one of my favorite cars.

I finally figured out what was confusing me about the NASCAR series race at Willow. I was concerned because even tho I win the race, I always get pulled on from the start and I have to make up ground in the corner. I finally noticed that the Willow and HSE race in the series allow us to run at full power no power limiting and I had them power limited to like 74% the restriction for Daytona etc. obviously when I removed the power limiting they no longer pull on me off the line. Ill have the NASCAR Series set up ready this week.

Took a few days to get my refund on the HDMI Splitter, and I kept one of them. I have a use for it.

I ordered a DVI to HDMI converter, HDMI to DVI cable and an optic cable

HDMI to DVI cable will go from the PS3 to the converter along with the optic cable. HDMI to the splitter from the converter, 1 HDMI to the TV the other to the Capture card in the Laptop

In the end I should get full 1080p Video and full sound capture

Something to distract me from the current state of GT6 Online

About Miura
The base settings is excellent. Only small changes what affects front end turning - I prefer that the car is staying in the driving line during corner. It's poison for me if the car want to travel over the driving line ( I must lift throttle ), I prefer that the car want to travel inside of the driving line ( I can add throttle ). That was the reason I added front toe value to +0,50. I'm also little bit confused why the camber 0,5 with toe +0,75 feels also good in the front. There is something about the relationship between camber and toe what I don't quite understand.

I added rear wing and the rear end is now very ok.

The most improvement of your settings is that now I can keep the car on the track. Earlier it was extremely difficult or impossible.

My best time improve 0,5 sec and with your help I can go now very often near to my best time. I'm not sure was my previous record with 1.15 - if it was, then there is bigger improvement in time because it feels that the 1.16 is little bit slower version than 1.15.

After your help there is a new problem - I'm serious, Miura is too fast. You did Your setup work too well.

I like racing and driving online. Other players don't like if someone is much too fast and they leave the lobby. Quite soon you are there alone. Its not good, that's why I need new fast and "neutral" car. I'm thinking of NSX and there is too choices: concept and year model 02, both good at 550pp. You need oil change with concept to achieve 550pp. The speed of NSX is between Miura and ZZII and it should be fine.

If I remember right, you mentioned your NSX ( and csl ) earlier. I didn't found your NSX setup and I'm thinking is it possible for You to put Your NSX setup here.

Ill have to try those adjustment out

The NSX is a great car, but not as fast as the heavy hitters in 550pp range, partly its unable to take advantage of no oil change ever with elevated millage engine degradation pp advantage as the others can. Its at 550pp max and any degradation lowers it from there. Even without the pp advantage some other cars are around 2 seconds faster on average, Like he Muira, Spyker C8, Series One S/C, RX500, RX8 Concepts and a few more of these cars are just faster than everything else, I believe its the tq to hp gap allowing for better power to weight ratio inside the pp level. It seems tq is tied in to pp and the greater the gap from peak tq to peak hp there is, the more hp per pp/kg you can get. It makes me wish they didn't tie in tq, because hp alone would of generated a more level playing field. They should consider the tq already tied in to hp, as it is.

The CSL is another on the power limits side of things, BUT the M3 GT3 can be run at 550pp with a little more success. I find PP limited events online are very much about getting as much as you can inside the pp limits, many races are won on performance/pp set up alone. For example a guy with a Series One that's not set up with maximizing pp advantage inside a limited pp wont have a chance to a guy whos using every advantage there is inside a pp limit, like never getting an oil change and setting the car up with more pp then the limit then running the car to get power loss from bad oil and high mileage then reducing power to the pp limit. The CSL is about a second behind the heavy hitters (Muir, C8, Series One)

Its like in high speed racing, as much as it sucks, its ugly, even stupid looking, Nose up, tail tucked is whats fastest, and the guys running flat wont stand a chance unless they got the boost and slipstream on strong. I swear HS Racing in GT online looks like a pack of dogs running scarred... You could even say the turbos sound like whimpering.

There may be another trick, maxing the performance then using high power limiting to bring the power down but hit max hp very low in the rpm range and run max hp flat from low rpm to redline, although Ive not tested this much, it seems there is a good chance it does more harm then good because the pp is tied in to tq, this being the only reason it is tied to pp that would make it being tied in to tq reasonable, but if there is more advantage here to be found, possibly another hole in the system that would not be there if not tied in to hp. Will only know were it stands after more testing.

After a loooong ass time, my HDCP issue is sorted.

I got my DVI to HDMI converter today & HDMI to DVI cable

So from the PS3 goes the HDMI to DVI cable into the DVI to HDMI converter box where a HDMI Cable then goes from the Converter box to the capture card in the Laptop ExpressCard Slot. Load up my recording software and BOOYAH recording PS3 game play with no HDCP blocking me. I just got to pick up the optic cable so I can capture sound at the same time, that tho Im heading over to pick up locally no need to order it, at the same time dropping off the laptop to get the insides cleaned out because Im going to be working this bitch hard and shes do for a dust removal.

It works thats the main thing. I tested it and have no problems recording from XMB to in Game

Next step is finding better video editing software Happy

Optic Audio cable picked up n all is good so far. I have the splitter set up plugged into the surround system and all is gravy. Its a little bit crazy the converters splitter n all that but the end game is full 1080p recording of raw feed. No more pointing my camera at the TV.

Finally Laptop is ready, just got to pic it up. I would right away but I have a Vet appointment to have a biopsy done on my Dog, he's got a growth on his chin. Fingers crossed its just something I get removed and life goes on. I'm sure people have pets that are closer to family, my Dog Travis is my boy, my Hommie, literally my best friend. I'm a lil stressed to say the least.

All goes well Ill be fully set up later today, Ive got all converters and wires, the only thing I'm waiting on is an HDMI extension as my capture card uses micro HDMI with a rather short cable, the extension will let me put shit where I like instead of having the laptop close to the splitter for when I'm recording. With the splitter I get 2 feeds so I can do live gaming playing on the TV but recording on the Laptop. Stoked to finally get all this shit figured out and set up how I like for full feed recording with no quality drop.

Sick of my videos looking so shit the content is overlooked because of horrendous quality of the video.
