We need some help to get the files needed to build the hotfix into an pkg so us offline guys can have some fun with the X-Mas Hotfix car.


If you want to help post up. I will be finding out how to get the files needed. I believe its consist of basically the changed files after the update but I will post more details as I get them.

We need somebody with the hotfix installed that has the LM55 working & knows how to ftp files on and off the PS3 (very easy with filezilla) we can assist if you need any. If you can run GT6HE you can run Filezilla.

Post up if you want to help & q-k will let us know what files to grab

Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo Unlocked

Thanks to the efforts of q-k, FarSideX & PinkPanther1020 the Project is Complete and successful. It was truly a team effort and great to see q-k and FarSideX team up, Im sure anytime they do great things are sure to come of it.

FarSideX has built these 2 Region Specific Packages and if anybody needs a different region just post up and it will be looked at region by region as they are required.



This is also good news in that a similar solution may be used in future similar situations.

There is even more icing on the cake as the car was also tweaked to cost only 1Cr

Not sure, everything got put on ice from PSN but I think he needed the specific files for the hotfix as he doesn't go on PSN with his JB PS3. I figure if things are back up he will pop back in to give a heads up sometime.

I grabbed the hotfix after they stopped the DDOS and before Sony shut down PSN on Xmas. Since then it has been non stop NHL15 and Little Big Planet 3 on the PS3s so I didn't even get a chance to try the car yet. Gives me a chance to rewrite some code though

Generally, I guess if your offer is stil valid FarSideX, packing everything into a PKG would be easier to install. I can only come up with a weird list of files inside GAMEDATA/PDIPFS..
Plus, I know how to grab/install them by FTP. But I'm not sure if this is the same for other guys..

I'll send a request for the second file by PM to you and PinkPanther, whoever is faster.
When I have the second file, I'll need up to an hour - then I should be able to provide a full list of needed files for the hotfix (except for the eboot)..

*EDIT* I had a glimpse at the first file PinkPanther1020 sent, it should all work out like I imagined it would

*EDIT* I've identified 69 files for the hotfix, including the Movie.. I'll ask FarSideX now if he's still up for building a PKG..

I think my graphics card just broke while I was inspecting the files to grab the needed filenames (I'm back on the CPU internal graphics - all files have been identified).
In addition to the fact that the Mazda was released as a "hotfix" while PSN was hammerd by DDOS attacks - I came up with a nice idea. Let's just wait if FarSide is up for that, too

Wow 69 files. Is it as simple as like replacing the files with the "updated" ones? I was figuring the "game" needed to be told or something, I dunno about this sorta thing

Basically, you only need to replace/add all the files from the list I've sent to FarSideX.. And the game will know about the Mazda then
