(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The most recent VGT came in through a Hotfix, and so while many are enjoying the Mazda LM55 VGT some of us stuck offline are waiting on the next update to get the hot fix.

We need some help to get the files needed to build the hotfix into an pkg so us offline guys can have some fun with the X-Mas Hotfix car.

If you want to help post up. I will be finding out how to get the files needed. I believe its consist of basically the changed files after the update but I will post more details as I get them.

Required
We need somebody with the hotfix installed that has the LM55 working & knows how to ftp files on and off the PS3 (very easy with filezilla) we can assist if you need any. If you can run GT6HE you can run Filezilla.

Post up if you want to help & q-k will let us know what files to grab

All you will need to do is let us know you want to help & q-k will let you know what files to grab, postem up & that's it

Thanks for any help & Thanks to q-k for figuring it all out.

Any other regions needed just let me know.

This is also good news in that a similar solution may be used in future similar situations.

There is even more icing on the cake as the car was also tweaked to cost only 1Cr

Can’t trickshot me!
Just as a precaution..

As the next patch is nearby, I'd suggest to uninstall the Hotfix before attempting to install the next legit Update. It might also be necessary to delete all GameData (NOT SaveData) - and then reinstall all legit PKG files (except for the Hotfix). I don't know in depth how reliable the PKG uninstall will work (for the Hotfix PKG).. Maybe someone with more time could test it..

I don't know if PD are aware of this Hotfix or not. But if they are, they can detect its presence very easily - and I just don't want to find out what they pull out of their hats for the CFW users then.

Sure thing. I've got GT6 on both PS3 so not a problem at all.

I finally got my old slim online last night spoofing my fat PSID to the slim.

The fat used the pkg hotfix, No official "HotFix" post 1.15 even after getting online. USUALLY after there is a hotfix in the middle of updates it comes with the next update, should I try to install the next update over the hotfix or as precaution delete game data and redo the install from scratch?

My curiosity has me interested in seeing what will happen trying to install the next update over the pkg hotfix but if you think its not worth the risk, I'll not make an attempt n just delete n reinstall it all.
