(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The most recent VGT came in through a Hotfix, and so while many are enjoying the Mazda LM55 VGT some of us stuck offline are waiting on the next update to get the hot fix.

We need some help to get the files needed to build the hotfix into an pkg so us offline guys can have some fun with the X-Mas Hotfix car.


If you want to help post up. I will be finding out how to get the files needed. I believe its consist of basically the changed files after the update but I will post more details as I get them.

We need somebody with the hotfix installed that has the LM55 working & knows how to ftp files on and off the PS3 (very easy with filezilla) we can assist if you need any. If you can run GT6HE you can run Filezilla.

Post up if you want to help & q-k will let us know what files to grab

Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo Unlocked

Thanks to the efforts of q-k, FarSideX & PinkPanther1020 the Project is Complete and successful. It was truly a team effort and great to see q-k and FarSideX team up, Im sure anytime they do great things are sure to come of it.

FarSideX has built these 2 Region Specific Packages and if anybody needs a different region just post up and it will be looked at region by region as they are required.



This is also good news in that a similar solution may be used in future similar situations.

There is even more icing on the cake as the car was also tweaked to cost only 1Cr

Guess it is possible, but wouldn't it cause compatibility issues?

Im all obsessed with getting to drive the LM55, but Ive grown curious about the surprise. The F1 cars would be epic but scared to think about it.

No, the surprise is a different one. In theory, hmmm - it would be possible. Replacing an existing car should be way easier. But, that all is nothing I'd like to do.. How do you guys come up with such ideas?



Only the names are still in game. There's no model data, there are no specs for the cars. I guess, It's a prime example of PD having "leftovers" in their gamedata. All of the stuff I've inspected, made me believe that they had planned a "import your old GT5 savegame" in the past.. But pulled that due to heavy OFW savegame modding..



As said, not the F1 cars. You'll find out soon enough. It's really inevitable. The funny thing though is, you wouldn't need it at all. But I don't like to spoil it for you

*EDIT* I won't repeat this "surprise" on any occasion. It might cause counter-actions.. Which might slow down the game even more, and I think this is unnecessary..

I'm glad the LM55 is working, eager for the pkg I'm heading out in a hour tho so might not get a chance to test it till later tonight if its released after 4.

Sorry for the delay guys. The files worked for q-k but they corrupt my installs, strange since they came from one of my installs.

I got that fixed and I am uploading the pkg files now. They do not include the movie, if you want that I can make separate pkgs for it. I'll post the links here and q-k can make his own thread and use the inks there if he likes.

I dont need the video, Ive watched it so many times already lol just eager to drive the LM55, stoooooked its all worked out

I can't thank you guys enough, unbelievable what you guys can do with GT6 and PD Code. Its also really cool to see FarSideX & q-k team up on something, I hope to see more collaborations in the future, only good things can come of it.
